Hmm now I'm curious. I guess we may see what happens if Fred gets purged next season (after all we had that scene in Nick's flashback about gathering intel on Waterford for the commander that recruited him so ..hmmm.)
Also I thought there was a photo of a single wife with a baby up on the wall at the doctor's office

EXACTLY. Totally agree. I really didn't think he was sulking about June but rather worried about her especially because of what happened with the previous Offred. And I'm sure pulled away also because he realized he was being careless and like he said, she could end up on the Wall. It was too dangerous what they were

Interesting thoughts. I hope the show goes into this!

I agree on the not binge watching. I'm glad I decided to watch one episode a week. Also I could think about each episode more that way too.

Yeah I thought that was a bit funny almost. Serena just assuming her son must have been fighting on their side!

What's the correct way to interpret that part of the Bible? (I'm genuinely curious how you would explain the meaning of it) I read i when I googled it after the first episode of this show and it really creeped me out. But I'm not religious so I don't know much about Bible stuff.

Yeah it was such a fascinating scene! I really enjoyed all the nuances in it.

Wow that's interesting. Even the captions are against Janine and her baby! Grr

Yeah that's a good point. I just assumed Janine was making it up or reading too much into her relationship with the Commander. Wow I feel bad now. Wake up call I guess

Yes that scene when she is watching Janine enter the house at her new posting I was all excited thinking we'd get Aunt Lydia flashbacks. Sad we didn't but maybe it'll be in a future ep?

Wow that's an interesting comparison between Luke and the Commander. I hadn't thought of that.

Yeah I was excited to hear that quote but then it didn't fit. I agree, they are showing her in a better light compared to the book. They better not turn her into an action hero spying around the house and working for MayDay. That would totally miss the point of the book. I really liked how the book has that theme of

You've just hit the nail on the head about what didn't work for me in the Moira & June scene. I hadn't totally realized it but yeah they've made June more hopeful and like she's gonna be part of the resistance. So it changed the dynamics too much for me between them. In the book it was really hard because June was so

Yeah that leg shaving thing that was added I wasn't keen on.
And I think I was probably too excited for Jezebel's so it was disappointing for me.

Good point about "doing something that feels good" being sometimes the only form of self preservation you have.
Also yeah that Sleeping Beauty line made me want to throw up too!

Yeah I rolled my eyes at the Commander actually believing that that was an honest compliment and her "understanding him" . Hah.

Yeah I'm impressed that his acting has made me curious about Nick and not bored at all. Cause you're right. His scenes are mostly standing around and looking at June. But it works. On the other hand: bring on more June stories next week! Maybe her mother, even? Pretty please?

"But I love the book and am interested in how the dystopia came to be. These are stories the book did not cover."

It's a Lost reference. (Scrolling the comments and saw this, just had to answer.)

Good point about the suspense - I happened to have read the book in between last ep and this one and that removed all that suspense for me. I knew about Jezebel's already and that he takes her there.
I think I would have been more on the edge of my seat if I hadn't known that because the Commander does creepy really
