It’s the lack of tells/how off they are that really hurt - though the sheer AoE doesn’t help either. Technically I-frames do work from recollection (unless something changed), it’s just the size/time of his attacks make them pointless in a lot of cases, and difficult in a lot of the rest due to aforementioned tell

It’s not just the game companies look at nVidia, or corporate profits for that matter. Screw the consumer seems to have gained a sort of life of its own.

I picked this up a bit ago and am actively playing it, and honestly? Not an expected response. The DLC in this is thin, and I tend to agree with fan arguments that some zones in the main game were meant to be DLCs. The game is honestly just not very polished despite having a good premise.

You don’t want to hear the rest of the story then, it involves multiple RMAs and having to diagnose a problem with software licensed by the month rented from a local shop. Mess of a build that took most of a year to get mostly functional.

I managed to have my computer completely give up the ghost just in time to play snatch-a-card for months and barely manage to get a 3080 Ti. Which they promptly raised the prices $200 just before launch. From the already ridiculous price.

I just don’t understand how people are still giving them money, and I say that as one of their original (kickstarter) backers. Is it just the same people giving more and more money like some kind of cult?

This is one of those “I appreciate the attempt” things. I do think this is going to take off, and that ultimately automation is going to be the basis of production, and replace labor in general. Nonetheless, it’s worth a note that adoption and development cycles are not the same thing. The ability to do something is

Entertainingly mine were similar - although in my case it turned out to be bad RAM slots which were causing the problem, and the monitor had other issues as well. Just honestly really done with them, diagnosing the RAM issue took me six fucking months and multiple RMAs due to it only happening after gaming for around

The last two things I bought from Asus (monitor and motherboard) both had problems. At this point I just prefer not to do business with them.

I legitimately don’t know what to say to this? I don’t actually trust any other aftermarket companies, so kind of a problem going forward. More to the point though, while I actually do buy other EVGA products, this is... pretty much what their company is known for.

or release the server software so people can host it themselves

People are angry over people not paying as much into a scam ‘merely’ being in debt? I have no words. This is like politics in a microcosm.

I guess I have two things to say here, the first is that moving to a post scarcity society requires eliminating scarcity, a big part of which is labor. This is not just unsurprising, it’s a fundamental part of transitioning to a different economy. If anything, I think people may be more surprised by which jobs are

I haven’t played this game, but in some ways I feel like I learned more about the author in this than the game. So I’ll simply say this - hardships are not inevitable or unfixable. Humanity may be in a bad place, but it was in a worse place before, and it will be in a better place tomorrow. Global poverty has gone

As you mentioned, more waiting for TTW DLC than this, which I’m skeptical of until proven otherwise.

I have no idea what to say to those objections, I mean, wouldn’t they have been more concerned about her backstory? Bad faith is an understatement, it seems like they just managed to miss you know, a couple decades and added on some nonsense.

Honestly I’m almost impressed with them. They’re a video game company, but they blew past EA’s awfulness years ago. When you have to sit down and ask yourself whether a video game company is worse than companies in fundamentally unethical areas, it’s time to consider you may have gone past merely fucking up. At this

I’m actually playing through that right now - while it’s not great, it’s a decent example of the genre. Sounds like it might just not be your thing honestly.

This was the last place I posted frequently outside topical stuff like here, and it’s even worse than it sounds. We’ve had indirect warnings about this since last year, and it appears it may be a result of a single CM’s dislike of bothering with forums. Further, back when it first came up I did a one to one comparison

Torn here, I was psyched before the part about slow combat was mentioned, but I’m still pretty fond of Warframe despite the early problems. Really though, there aren’t exactly a lot of games that take inspiration from fast paced melee like the DMC series, I’d have been more interested in that than another soulsbourne.
