I’m rolling for Zhongli so I figure good chance I get those anyways (and I’m nowhere near his C6. I may be tempted if I wind up on C5 though).

I’m not proposing it as a solution, I’m pointing out that the current law is so awful it might still be less bad to just eliminate it.

I’ll be honest, in its current form copyright law is basically a blight on society. It causes so many problems that just ripping it out might cause less to put in perspective. Nonetheless, all the money on this is on the other side, so it’s unlikely we’ll see any sort of fix for what a mess it is.

It’s older than you think, honestly Citizens United was barely the removal of a speed bump for this problem - it dates back to the birth of modern lobbying in the 80s, and arguably its first acid test in the 90s when it got Republicans to turn away from environmentalism.

Frankly I’ve said it before, but can we go back to enforcing anti-trust law again? It was obvious a long time ago that the new precedents set in the 70s were harming the public, and frankly have basically murdered off a huge and important part of our economic and legal system.

Apologies, it didn’t even occur to me - Deep Rock Galactic.

Frankly, it’s how tight the gameplay cycle is, and particularly the implementation of expansions to it (such as the characters tools) that work with eachother. Basically there’s a bunch of subsystems there working together to make pacing incredibly tight.

I’ve got to be honest, while I might try it, so far the only game to live up to the idea of being a successor for L4D is DRG. Which both has tighter gameplay synergies, and expands thoroughly on the concept. I feel like at this point anything below that just doesn’t live up to the premise.

... Lost Ark has a release date? I legitimately don’t know what to say to that.

Excellent catch, thanks for pointing this out.

No idea how reliable it is, but I ran a search for player count and used a site called MMO Populations.

I was confused by how this game continues to receive so much coverage, then I went and checked player numbers. How is Destiny 2 the second most played MMO after WoW? I mean, there are so many problems with it that it’s absurd. Even before some of these, it just... wasn’t a very good game. To be fair, I’d say the same

Do the math is good advice in general (or use an optimizer), but it does kind of emphasize my point there.

I have to admit, I figured you guys would cover what happened to that leaker.

I’ve got to be honest, I just kind of shrugged and moved on when they announced that model. It’s exploitative, and they couldn’t even be bothered to account for basic issues like you mentioned here. While I do grasp your point here, I’d argue you should be more concerned over whether it moves to other games given it

Once again, the entirely online part? Totally ok with that. My problem is whether there’s no shows again, for me E3 is largely a way to get trailers all in one point so I can figure out what I’m interested in. When companies decide to drag it out by throwing these all over the year it’s frustrating, so the success of

Right, is it just me or did my post on here vanish? I can only see it through my notifications/discussions now. We really need a new comment system on here...

I just wanted to mention I appreciate how these (and another list article lately) haven’t been slideshows - cheers.

I’ve got to be honest, I feel like the major problem here is actually the copyright claim - we’ve hit the point where even investigative journalism (which is basically what this is) is easily wiped away by copyright. The DMCA and other related laws have so much to answer for it defies belief, along with the companies

I missed Neon Abyss, while I already have Remnant. Annoyed.
