Have the tarriffs raised the prices yet? Because if so, those people apparently did get a better deal anyways!

Cheers, appreciate the clarification. Gorgeous style by the way, very clean.

I think only the top three are Hades characters. The bottom one is Ciri I’m pretty sure (the symbol is Aard, the intro text mentions Witcher 3 too, and the character design seems to be her). I’m still drawing blanks on the other two though.

I recognize the top three and the bottom one, but who are the other two?

Torn between Warframe and Blade & Soul. I’m definitely more fond of the longer, more significant jumps. Warframe probably comes out on top though honestly, for the more technical jump tactics.

Cheers, thanks mate. I played back at/before launch, and the passwords presumably still in my password manager. Should be fine.

I hear you on the anxiety issue. Even after having played MMOs for around two decades now, I still have this problem. Unfortunately, while it’s less bad than real life, there’s still a very real and physical reaction to such things.

It’s a bizarre and concerning situation certainly, but also not one that much is likely to result from. As disturbing as what’s happening is (Americans assaulting the capital in opposition to democracy), it’s more disturbing for what it says about the nation, rather than actually accomplishing much anything. The

Not quite what I meant, but I did back it and am looking forward to it.

New Suikoden?

I wouldn’t mind working my way through some of my backlog. I tend to get a good start occasionally, then fall off the wagon. Got probably just over 50 games still, like I have for some time really. That of course ignores games I don’t intend to play but got in bundles and the like.

The previous Penny Arcade this week was funnier. Admittedly, I’m easily amused by comments on the mess that is the human condition, but still... lot of sympathy there.

Helps that I’m waiting to build a new PC anyways, yeah though I figure I can get a substantial discount by the time 3080s are consistently in stock.

Honestly, I’ve gotten bigger gifts before, but probably the best was Ocarina of Time. I did not particularly like the earlier Zelda games (not outright dislike or anything, but I preferred Star Tropics to Zelda back then), and my parents apparently had no idea what to buy me at the time, but they got told this was

I absolutely hear you. I think the ‘new’ game I enjoyed most was Deep Rock Galactic coming out of early access. Which shouldn’t really count. I can’t recall the last year that was so dead gaming wise.

I’m ok with this conceptually, it’s been nearly a decade since I quit LoL, but I quite like a lot of their design and videos, so I wouldn’t object in principle. No idea if it’ll be good obviously though.

Honestly, the best example of this in my view is Diablo 3. It’s also one the oldest examples. The game was so broken on launch that it defies belief. Gear was misplaced entirely by multiple acts in the final difficulty. End game was basically nonfunctional. And that’s before you consider things like the story being

I was under the impression it was just a VRAM upgrade, am I wrong? I’ve got to admit, I’m not following the leaks closely.

I’m giving them the extra months. Admittedly that’s because I had trouble getting the GPU I want, so I’m delaying building a new PC till early next year. It does however help that by the time there’s a good stock of 3080s in, this game will probably be in a better place.

On the one hand, I see your general point here, on the other Blizzard has been clearly awful since the whole Blizzard North fiasco back around 2003. They haven’t been a decent company since a point predating the release of WoW. And I’m not sure Bethesda was ever viewed that way, at least as far back as I recall they
