It's Diablo 3. It doesn't have plot holes... Since that would imply it had something coherent enough to call a plot.

I backed this game around a year ago (shortly after KS), and honestly while I've seen a few stumbles, I feel as though in a lot of ways they're doing things right. In particular the shift away from the modern attitude towards prioritizing maximum customers over game design is one I really support. I'm not saying here…
It is admittedly somewhat mutable, even in terms of human generations there's a certain degree of flexibility about where one ends and the next begins. At present I'd argue that while both generations are 'current', the older gen is more current than the new in that it's more active. Personally, I start thinking in…
I was shocked when I realized there wasn't an entry, but at least this list isn't as hard to scroll through as the video one. Yeah though, it's impressive how he at once has his own attitude and yet the player still has meaningful decisions about him, due to the lack of certainty and inherent complexity of his world…
Someone is going to go for it. Hell, they even picked the right country. NZ is well known for extreme sports and the like. I look forward to hearing how this turns out.
I'm... Tempted as well. Specifically by the 3DS XL Zelda bundle though. I'm trying to keep myself from buying it, but damn.
Not surprised this is Japanese, I've always thought they had the right idea with the whole pork belly thing over there. Personally, I think I prefer the more traditional rice bowl format though.
Great song, but perhaps more meaningful in its impact than anything else.
I honestly feel as though this is the better of the two Portal game endings, not by a huge amount, but somewhat. The lyrics really fit the tone of the game better than the original. One of Jonathon Coulton's best songs in general really in my opinion.
Well said. Further than that though, even with the portable games, if you want to look at changes in the genre as a whole, you have to compare it to the entirety of what came before it. In addition to the loss in players, accessibility, and depth that we're seeing with the limitations of portable systems, there's…
As depressing as I find this, I can't really even claim they don't have a point. Comparatively speaking, making a game work well on the PC, even one which seems to fit it like a glove, is a relatively large effort. There are higher expectations in a huge number of areas, from UI to graphics to options.
I'll be honest, while I feel that these discussions do have a certain amount of relevance, due to their relation to game development if nothing else, at the end of the day I've no intention of buying a system because of hardware potential. I buy consoles so I can play games, more specifically I buy them so that I can…
Skip Tactics as well, makes Suikoden 4 look good. As for the next Persona game, I believe we had some news a while back that they'd began active development? This is based off recollection though. Either way, I'm fairly sure they've mentioned it's a while off.
I still like them, but I suppose the emphasis there ought to be on still. I listened to them all through the mid 90s, so I'm not all that sure how they're regarded by people who didn't, or really just in general. I suppose at the end of the day though, I enjoy most music.
While more general rather than focused on China, I feel it's relevant. Also hilarious. I miss you Jib Jab.
Like I said, I had the video site whitelisted. NoScript is easily the best add-on of all time though.
Not visiting that site again, the damned thing started autoplaying four videos. If nothing else, this teaches me a lesson about not whitelisting video playing sites permanently. Ugh.
CD Projekt Red? I suppose Witcher 3 is moving away from that though. Cloud Imperium Games maybe with Star Citizen... On the whole we've moved away from that viewpoint, towards a more commercially aware one, and I think we've lost a great deal by doing so.
