Maybe you’re being sarcastic. But just in case you’re not . . .

Interest rates are ass on everything right now, but generally you’ll get a much better rate on a new car than a used one. If you can’t afford to pay cash, a new car, especially one with a warranty, is still the right choice for many. Especially people who are shopping in the sub-$20,000 range.

Also a year or two ago people weren’t using Buy Now Pay Later to buy groceries and auto loan rates averaged 2% lower.

Except ford sells about 750k F150's per year and about 30K Mach-E per year. So the F150 stock is about 30 days while the Mach E inventory is about 120 days.

Tesla is non-union. I’m not buying a non-union made car, period.

You can buy a base Mach-E with like 220 miles of range for $5K under MSRP, but the best deal I see online for a ~300 mile version is still $56K. This is competing with a $50K Model Y. The Ford was overpriced and still not a great deal...

WTF?!

Damn. This was one of the best things to come out of the current Star Trek revival. Season 2 was going to be the highlight of my fall TV viewing.

I thought it was great. WAY better than discovery or Picard.

Damn. I know it’s a kid show and I’m 40-something, but Prodigy was really starting to grow on me.

Temporary bridge: A few weeks.  Permanent Bridge:  5-Years.

I think any sub-100k mile Japanese car costs $4k+ these days.

On what’s already a good Friday afternoon, you - Mr. David - have tapped into my love for small authentic Japanese cars. The cheaper, the better, and the more transparent.

I actually did a similar Cash for Clunkers trade to what you described- a 1996 Jeep Cherokee (2 doors, vinyl seats, got all of 12 mpg) for a 2009 Nissan Versa S hatchback (1.8l engine and the conventional automatic transmission). No regrets. It’s not great in the mountains and the ride is a bit bumpy, but it has had no

I think the car has plenty of power. 0-60 in 9.1 seconds. It’s a barn burner!

So simple it just works.

I have only driven the higher spec hatchback models - which have fantastically squishy armrests and are apparently quite a bit quieter. I have an odd affection for it, there’s a certain degree of weirdness you don’t usually get with an entry level car. I mean I wouldn't - and didn't - buy one but when I see one I

No, I think it’s an insane purchase, but I’m also not the one handing over my money. To someone, it had exactly as much value as they paid, for some specific reason.

There will be parts availability on a Ford F-Series pretty much up until the Sun consumes the Earth. It’s a safe bet in this case, and that 7.3 will still be running by then too.

Yeah but this dude needs a Miata.
