I would argue that GM absolutely takes risks but they have historically murdered their own products before they can properly develop. GM developed a viable, promising electric car years before its competitors.

GM has taken a bunch of risks. Their problem is when the going gets tough, they fold and cancel. Look at the Fiero. Once they updated it into a decent car, they canceled it. Look at the Solstice. My guess is that the mid-engined vette won’t last too many years like those two other cars because it’s too impractical…

That seat’s a little rough, but the rest doesn’t stand out too bad. Are the plastics just really cheap and that’s why people don’t like it? I guess the footwell looks a little cheap, but I see that as more utilitarian

They are absolutely as big as the early 00's gen F150. Makes sense since the current F150 is the size of the older F350 SDs

I know quite a few people who have seen the Rivian truck up close and the two complaints are always the same.... the interior is AWFUL and Rivian’s gap tolerances are insanely large, which says to me that they aren’t ready for production quite yet.

Yeah, when I first saw the new Ford Ranger on the road, I was like WTF that is huge and seems just as big as the prior gen F150.

Rivian or CyberTruck?  Neither.  I’m just hoping EV’s mean the return of the small pick-up.
