Jeff Altman was just a one-shot wonder whore those days.
Don't even have to look at the clip. I can sing it from memory.
Issa Rae got a Golden Globe nomination for Insecure, and she's on the HBO. Gotta give her the edge.
And that's not even Fiona Apple's longest album title. "When the Pawn Hits the Conflicts He Thinks like a King What He Knows Throws the Blows When He Goes to the Fight and He'll Win the Whole Thing 'fore He Enters the Ring There's No Body to Batter When Your Mind Is Your Might so When You Go Solo, You Hold Your Own…
Have you tried Calibre? It's always done well for me.

To an extent. I don't know if you've listened to any of the Fog stuff before he got Dinosaur back together, but he had a band there that was pushing him technically (dude from Widespread Panic on bass) and it was great. Then he chose to regress.
I just can't with Dinosaur anymore, and they were my favorite band for many years. The songs are okay, but the intensity just isn't there. I remember seeing them at a shed on Lollapalooza and they were so loud folks in the lawn were holding their ears. Last time I saw them in a club, they were just kinda loud. And J's…
The man is 78. He's got 47 projects in development (or so it seems). Something has to give.
I was just thinking that, sorta. Seems like every few weeks weeks there's a story about a new project he's involved in or directing. Man is 78, and while I wish no ill upon him, fact of the matter is he might want to focus a little better given his age . All those movies are not going to get made, at least not by him.…
Yes, and directed by Jonathan Weiss, who documented a lot of Survival Research Labs stuff and is perfect for the job. Worth watching, but parts will make you cringe. No way around it, though.
Have you seen The Atrocity Exhibition? I don't know if I'd call it good, but it's certainly an accurate translation.
There was a sequel called "Look What Happened to Rosemary's Baby" which I have not seen since it was made for TV in 1976 and most certainly wretched.
You find out later, when you have a kid of your own. It's inconceivable how much a parent loves their little animals until you feel it yourself, then you look back and realize that that's how your parents feel about you. It'd probably be overwhelming if you weren't so tired.
I was lucky enough to see him on the Sound and Vision greatest hits tour first, then again on the tour with Nine Inch Nails. A Bowie and Reznor duet on "Hurt"? Yeah. Exactly.
That's what I don't get: I was 20 when I started. You and I both knew it was a horrible, sickening addiction, but we did it anyway. And anyone who starts now knows it too. How can we be such dumbasses?
It's one of my very favorite films, like they watched their dailies when they were half asleep. Never been able to make it through Piano Tuner of Earthquakes, though.
I understand the dice thing. I was just looking at them the other day. Oddball stuff like d16s. Threatening to get a bunch, just to have them around for my son.
