But Microsoft could use Windows 8 as a platform for other software to sell and it still receives a good deal of money from hardware companies who need to use it's OS.

But does not a scramjet use much less fuel? Or able to use hydrogen or even oxygen molecules?
It would probably make more sense to use Scramjet ships to launch satellites into space with large tungsten rods and then use those as weapons.
I thought a Scramjet uses far less fuel, it can also use hydrogen or even oxygen molecules, right?
I want to dispose of my garbage in lava... I think we should all dispose of our garbage in lava.
Uh huh, riiiight... Emotional responses ≠ facts and repeatedly stating something does not make it true either.
A post is misleading when it gives you the wrong impression;
"cuts that were probably more deeply felt than going from $25 million to $20 million for a couple years with other 7+ figure revenue streams to count on."
Wait, what was I wrong about?
From what I can tell from the BBC article the people who lost their jobs were not working on Lenos show, he cut his salary to save people who worked on his show. Granted I did not study the matter, if you find contrary info, let me know.
Everyone talks about him being a Republican, but on social issues I think he is pretty left. I know that he is a hard worker who has kept going for years on a brutal schedule, and to give 20% of your salary to the people who make his show work is no petty matter.
Its not a crime to be wealthy nor is it a reason to scorn someone. He is under no obligation to protect anyone, they are not his employees. The fact that he voluntarily cut his salary by 20% is not an opportunity to say he could have done more.
That Leno bit is pretty misleading... Unless I read it wrong on the BBC he gave up almost 20% of his salary to save the staff who were being axed from his show. I never liked Leno but damn me if that is not an awesome thing to do.
Right, excellent point. I think the "Hahaha" nailed it.
Is not Canada less racially diverse than the US? I thought only something like 11 or 12% of the population identifies as non white.
Did I say that? If the women was a born again christian who believed in celibacy you don't think that would influence how she taught her children? Our experiences dictate our actions, it is human nature.
I can appreciate the fact that she wishes to now make some money off the experience, maybe write a book or a few articles. I think her story is fascinating and personally would read her book but with that being said... I can understand why parents may have a problem with someone who believes it is ok to sell their…
Egypt was the original cultural melting pot... Obviously the Hellenistic and Roman periods brought great demographic changes, then the Arab conquest made Egypt what it is today... During the Byzantine conquest many "native" Egyptians (including the Greeks, Italians etc) fled leaving behind a majority Arab population…
Could you give a little more info about this? Except for slaves in places like Lisbon and Spain, I don't really have any information on roles that Africans played during the European Renaissance...
Whether Greeks are considered white or not because of being tan and olive skin has nothing to do with ethnicity. Regardless most of Egypts ruling class, middle class, law makers and generals were of Greek ancestry. Many greeks of that time are notable for being blond hair and blue eyed, it is one of the reasons that…
