Here's a demo of the BP plugin: [testbp.org] and the forums. You can toggle the features on and off, so you won't have a bunch of clutter. If you really don't want it, you can always remove the plugin. Let us know how it goes, or if you find a better solution!

I know I'm late, but for WordPress, try the plugin BuddyPress, it gives you profiles, forums, activity streams, and of course the original WP site. It works with many themes natively, and you can also integrate it into any other WP theme.

I've just uninstalled and wiped everything, then reinstalled for the major builds. Its a hassle, but keeps it somewhat lighter.

So should these be reflected in namebench tests? My ISP has always been fastest up to now.

Albedo 0.39? Please, how about 0.01

CPU cache is probably as important as speed, and probably even more. A processor at 2.0 Ghz and 4 MB cache would likely be more responsive than one at, say, 2.3, with only 2 MB. If you have to make a choice between a little more speed, and a little more on-board cache, memory wins. After all, the I/O is what really

I would go ahead and buy one. They improve sound quality a lot and are cheap. Check out Coding Horror: "The good news is that arguably the best sound card on the planet, the Xonar DG, is all of 30 measly bucks." [is.gd]

Where are the tips box and open thread now?

I like the nook touch (N2E). It's easily rooted, and was something I just picked up and started using. I had a harder time understanding the Kindle, and it's not easily hacked. Plus, nook supports a few more formats vs the Kindle, and sideloading is easy.

Why the incredibly pixelated pics? A nyan cat loop would do just fine.

I find TOR to be slow, but CyberGhost is pretty fast (just watch the data cap).

And there's no tips box now?

Great, but where did the tips box go? And is there a way to get the old layout back?

Yes. We have those in Supermarkets, Wholesale stores, and hardware stores. I do hate the scale (the items don't always weigh what they should). But yes, most of the difficulty comes from luser error, and is frustrating when your the person behind them.

I really like Notepad++. The WYSIWYG print is great, and the "ugly" interface is actually good because it keeps me focused on the code. I actually tend to write distraction-free in N++, then move over to an IDE for testing/debugging.

HDTVaholic seems kind of sketchy. Any proof that it's legit? (sorry if it looks like I'm trolling, I'm just kind of cautious).

Do you mean YOUR age, as it shows up in gmail? That would be your google profile.

Yup, I program a lot in Java. It works, but it's messy and bloated. To learn OOP, try Basic.
