I find the idea of losing 50% of the game I play really awnfull. A algorithm trying to mess with my life.

Cancel all copyright laws. Is what I say.   They should exist to protect the author, not to protect some bussines people from authors, like has happened here.

PS4 OS devs bad. Others just “if PS4 devs did not arsed, we lazy”.

Forums are asyncronous message systems. I can post a request for help a monday, and receive a reply a friday.  Chats like Discord are more syncroneous,  I can ask for help, but if nobody online (1) and paying attention to the chat (2) is looking at the chat, is very possible that the scroll will ate my request for

This game.... is amazong. It will be many people GOTY of this year.  But the flaws are has described in the article. My own words is:  some of the JRPG-ism need to die, specially large boring dungeons.  Less of that, please.  Don’t make me do long boring marathons, ask me short sprints between interesting stuff.  I

one million names on a txt file would probably weight 200 KB, .. the logo of the company weight more

I think is game flavour, and is a good thing.  Don’t you hate when you pick a random person in a game like Watch Dogs, and that person know how to drive cars, and even helicopters, as every random person know every skill in existence, like all others. Some of us can’t even boil a egg.

Control and power greedy are they?  mods so you can run the game you paid them on some hardware you own. They attack the modder with vicious laws designed to attack piracy.

Are you impling they want the person buying the 200$ version to also buy the 80$ version so he have the collector edition and a phisical copy of the game, and that they want the people that bought the game, to pay for the game again for the privilege to play with unlocked framerate?  gasp.  Understandable that they

Something was neccesary because the last movie ended with time travel / space time changing / aliens mothership / goin to hell..    the authors made all the excessive stuff they could trough. Everything except perhaps kicking god in the gonads.   So going back and making a reboot was neccesary, the question is “would

I was very confused when I was reading my nick spouting this opinions.  There should be a law against two people with the same name. If somebody is called John, then no other guy can be John.  In this case Tei. Tei is wrong here. Ignore what Tei say.

For a long time the legal owner was unclear/litigations where going-on, so it was not part of sales that would have boost sales.  Now I see that Trump t-shirt and it made me no care about that. I guess that was the intention of the journalist. You wins this one, Kotaku.

You have a good point but I will thrown a wrench in it...  Warcraft is almost a 1:1 clone of Dune 2. But Warcraft has a reason to exists and spawned the whole Warcraft universe that a lot of people enjoyed. Sometimes games are more than games.

Reading a review is not substitute to playing the game. The game is on the Xbox Game Pass, so go play it and then you may find yourself agreeing with the article.

I guess the message is “we don’t want anyone here forcing us to make this workplace better for the workers”

I heard that when the internet was introduced to the public in Japan, the mass media did it with a smear campaing labelling the internet like a corrupt place where we are all the time doing drugs, sex and alcohol. That the internet is full of criminals, and only horrible people use it. And PC are for porn. The damage

I would lower the copyright to only 4 years.  That would fix this nonsense.

It probably helps that was a great game.

This politics of this is “we can package and sell the explotation of latinoamerica by USA to the world in a fun and interesting game”. Capitalism need grown, if leftist movements have energy, Capitalism has to leech that energy for itself to continue growing. — Meanwhile, we will paint latinoamerica as a sad and
