Exactly the kind of personal experience this article reminded me of! Senior year of high school, I broke up with my high school sweetheart and about three days later, one of my male friends came on to me. I told him I thought it was best that I stay single in order to heal after my break-up and he flipped out on me,

After being beaten and raped by a stranger in a park, I’ve been in and out of treatment for PTSD ever since. The medications I’ve been prescribed for the nightmares help my blood pressure stay low but doesn’t stop them from happening. I’ve been assaulted and raped in my sleep almost every night over the last decade.

When I was violently beaten and raped by a stranger in a park at 18, I didn’t report it. From my experience most women don’t.

This has been going on awhile.

My sister was a fat kid (200 lbs at around age 10) and the only jeans she could find as a middle schooler were from Limited Too. Granted this was around 2000-03. I remember being mortified when my mother would drag me into that glittery hell while my sister tried on those pink and silver glittery jeans with the

Stop trying to cock block, Cory.

I don’t think people should be assuming that she’s lying when she says she really doesn’t remember it happening. It is possible that Joan Jett had no idea what was going on in the room. She could have witnessed the rape, but not been sober enough to know what was happening.

You know that scene in horror movies where the innocent person goes to investigate the strange noise by themselves? You scream at the TV for them to run but of course they can’t hear you.

I had 3k about 7 years ago to spend on my wedding. It was very rough to budget with that. We decided to forgo any big party and just have a morning wedding on the beach (you can sometimes rent venues cheaper in the morning) with a brunch afterwards for close friends and immediate family.

I lived in SF just two years ago, and it was the same. You did read my comment and saw that I referred to “local stores?”

/facepalm

In fashion and even in entertainment to some extent, a size 6 woman and up is typically considered “plus-size.” A size 4 model is really pushing it, and she’s probably considered too big for to model “normal” clothes and too small to model “plus-size.” She’d probably be told to lose some weight.

It’s why the clearance racks in my local stores are full of size XS and S clothing, but good luck finding any M, L or XL clothing on sale.

Did you even watch the trailer? I wouldn’t call any one of those models “common.”

There is only one sale to sniff out! The only thing I buy at Whole Foods is the beef when it goes on sale for cheaper than the ground beef from our local grocer. Then I buy enough to feed my husband for six months, and freeze it.

Does Rob Kardashian even exist anymore?

I’m five pounds overweight according to my BMI and I can still touch my belly button.

I have a hypoactive thyroid and whenever my blood test comes back over a 4 (whatever that means in doctor-speak), I sleep 18 hours a day, I lose about 60% of my hair and my finger nails start splitting apart- usually the point my endocrinologist puts me back on medications.

Working cornstarch baby powder into my roots has always worked for me. I have tried three different dry shampoo sprays at various price points and they cause my curls to become matted and tangled like a feral dog.

I like them roasted with blue cheese and cranberries.
