It will never cease to amuse me when southern crackers, who probably have yet to reach the level of cultural sophistication achieved by Homo erectus, pretend they’re superior to anyone.

Now playing

You have to watch it all the way to the end for the payoff, but it’s worth it.

Maybe she just means he can smell it from miles away, like ticks or mosquitoes with CO2.

This is so sad it borders on tragic. I have such fond memories of 2K b-ball, going all the way back to the dawn of the series on the Dreamcast. I can’t even begin to guess how many hundreds of games I played with school buddies, running a few back before hitting the clubs for the night, or again as a nightcap after

Gotta look out for casino hunks, though; I’ve heard they’ll break your bones if you talk with a sass mouth.

I own now—thank christ—but my last landlord (who occupied the upstairs unit of a two-flat) was such an intensely churlish and condescending piece of shit that I frankly gave up all pretenses to civility and began calling him such, to his face and in no uncertain terms, once I knew I wasn’t going to renew my lease. He

I grew up in the 80s as well, and back in those days, helicopter parents didn’t exist, so no one cared when, even as a kindergartener, I slunk off to the new local mall and spent hours and hours at the glorious Aladdin’s Castle, checking machines for free tokens so I could get some Afterburner action.

LOL, sounds like my first car (‘84 Camaro); it was such a piece of shit, and somehow ate starters at such a phenomenal rate, that I got to a point where I could easily push-start it by myself on flat ground. Practice makes perfect.

And “Tactical Turtleneck Black” was right there for the taking...

What about marine biology?

I agree on everything except the legitimacy of any fears on her part; given Trump’s hiring acumen as amply demonstrated by his personal attorney and physician, any assassin he could possibly find would doubtless end up being the exact polar opposite of Anton Chigurh and will probably die from running into a parked

Never?  What, you live in New York and have never read a Friedman column?

And god help anyone who buys one from them and should ever need to have it repaired; the VW of Duluth Service Dept. is incompetent on a cosmic level. They had my Mk4 TDI for about six months and couldn’t fix it; they ended up refunding a substantial portion of what I had paid after I sent a nastygram to the GM and

You know, I may check that out this very weekend, thanks for the tip!

Murder requires intent. To paraphrase Hanlon, never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by mere stupidity.

And yet she’s somehow survived with an Accord to date.  I’ll tell you, BMW and Mercedes are lucky as fuck that there aren’t any mountains or skiing in Europe, they’d never sell a car.

And she had AN ACCORD. Obviously 4WD isn’t imperative, unless you’re saying she just took skiing up. Read the whole thread first, sanctimonious jackass.

I guess, though I struggle to see how it becomes a necessity on the heels of owning an Accord which apparently was fine in the same exact circumstances up until now, but whatevs. There’s probably some dude up in the Yukon who has to have a convertible, so maybe it all balances out.
