I am both mad at you for using the word “Brechtian” and mad at myself for letting it excite me

I’m still mad it’s not written with Flair pen on quad paper

That’s such a useless semantic difference my face hurts. It’s up to Tesla to determine what a car sells for, everything else is how you feel. Everybody is “getting what they paid for” because there is no deception at the point of sale.

When was that? I moved to Mill Valley about 10 years ago and never saw such a thing.

Huh? It sounds like all sorts of punk of the 70s and 80s.

Seriously. My 9-5 was dead perfect for SF-LA, it did the trip at 30 mpg, 70 mph, one tank, total comfort...

what the hell sort of chemistry class are you taking

You hit the nail on the head. The bike will keep going forward under its own momentum fairly well even crossing the rails at an angle. Note that most of the riders lose the back end of the bike. Most people can point the front wheel where it needs to go because they control it with their hands, but have no handling

NEVS doesn’t give a shit about any market except China right now. A class leading platform from 2003 is still competitive against Chinese OEMs.

As one of many former bay residents, just get out. You don’t realize until you’re gone that you were wasting your time. I went to Minneapolis and love it, your mileage may vary.

“Other than computers”? Do you build canoes by hand, or teach college heat transfer? Everyone else’s life has been radically altered by computers.

I always liked your reviews, but suspected they might be a bit embellished. Now, I know for sure they are. This review is, honestly, nonsense. As a huge Saab fan the Viggen convertible is a horrible car. Saabs have torque steer, sure, but 250+ lb ft in this flimsy chassis feels like you’re sitting in the front of the

XC90 T8?

You’re surprised not to see riders attacking the race leader during a mechanical? Interesting.

Huh? Y’all are crazy. His front shifting worked fine, that’s what a chainring is... a derailleur hanger is the rear derailleur, that got bent sending the derailleur cage into the spokes if he tried to downshift, so they locked his rear shifting into the highest gear, the 11t sprocket.

Have you ever watched a TDF before?

Tell me more about what constituted the worst in pedal power.

Huh? The twin cities has extremely usable transit, sharp contrast to the SF Bay where I grew up. I bike and take transit year round, I have lived here for 3 years without needing a car. For some of the jobs I’ve held I’ve commuted by light rail in part of whole every day, and I know tons of people who use it daily.

Way more power, helical LSD, more brakes, it’s a Honda?

How do you figure? The original Type R had aircon, a radio, power mirrors, etc... there was even a special edition that came decked out with every “luxury” feature a Civic could have in 1997. It was all of the features of your average Civic with the addition of track performance.
