40K you say ?

I want to love it but damn, Volvo likes to price its cars out of the market sometimes. I’m taking an E400 4matic wagon over this anytime. Better interior, better engine, better pretty much everything.

“You applied for more than one credit card in a short amount of time”

But for the price they’ll ask for this (possibly a bit above the Fusion Sport) it places it in direct competition with a bunch of established awd “sport” sedans.

my ‘16 scion IM is pretty spry with the six speed manual. Wouldn’t mind a few more horses though.

I’m glad you like it, just don’t get how people have the time. Did you not have kids or a job? I have kids who are too young to leave home alone. Do people in apartments with dogs and young kids bundle up the kids every time Fido needs to pee and drag them along?

I can’t process “improvement” and “9-speed transmission” at the same time after having owned a new Jeep Cherokee with a 9-speed.

I’m waiting for a cooled steering wheel myself - I’ve mentioned this to a couple of Tier1 suppliers of interior systems and they haven’t found a way to do this for a reasonable cost with the required durability.

I think it’s an Audi thing. I haven’t driven an Audi that has a steering wheel that really heats up. Now Lexus on the other hand.. They get incredibly warm you have to turn them off.

Heated seats are for pleebs, heated steering wheels are true luxury and worth every penny!

These are definitely examples of some pretty poor financial and math knowledge.

Those Escorts were extremely reliable - actual problem rates were better than the Camry of the day...

They were just ungodly basic for too many people. Get over the lack of anything and general rough fit-and-finish and you were actually looking at reliable vehicle - people just wouldn’t buy that message when it

I’m still driving my ‘91 Escort GT, 5-speed. No issues. 137,000 miles. What a great car.

I had one of those Escorts for a summer in college. Got it for $900! It was beat to hell, the clutch worked maybe 50% of the time, musty seats...I do miss it though, my first Ford lol

So these people aren’t actually technically contractors, they’re real UPS employees, though often temporary employees or at least temporary in that position (package handlers at night, drivers during the day,) driving trucks that UPS itself rents out for the holiday season. As someone said above, FedEx Ground drivers

I refuse to have a Philly accent :) (non-native Philly’er here)

Pay your parking meter religiously. Seriously follow all parking signs as closely as possible. Even if there are no signs and a spot seems to good to be true, it is. The Philadelphia Parking Authority is a cartel out to make as much money as possible off of the most minor violations and even perceived violations.

So you’re saying you can have a more capable car for twice the price? I’m shocked, SHOCKED I tell you!

Hey, all us guys with metal issues want to do is dig through the ditches, burn all the witches, and slam in the back of my dragula.

Audi S6, slightly used. Lovely cars and easily tunable to north of 600HP...
