Vroom has all of the same problems and needs to also be investigated.

APR Stage 1 on my 2011 Audi A3 Hatch. Loved that car. But the moment I drove away from the shop who did the tune and boost gauge install, I knew something wasn’t right. Shop is well regarded too but even the Audi Service Tech said it looked like someone went in with a chainsaw and hacked the ECU box and everything…
The power rating on every Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7l v8 since 2009 is equal to or higher than this as well. Sure, this 10 speed is a faster shift and the AWD system is better for pure all out speed that some Overland GC banging around. But they probably are/will be close in weight too.
I’ve bought and sold to Vroom twice and sold once to Carvana. Why I did it twice with Vroom I’ll never know but the most recent round of pain included a formal complaint with the Texas DMV (I am in NJ and they declined to help me after a complaint to my DMV and AG) and getting ahold of their C level team. After 4…
Yep. Worked on a used 2019 GC I bought. Plus they have the hidden but known links to get your build sheet and window sticker for a while now. Or just email Jeep Cares.
No. This car is not worth $6,000. Even adjusted for today’s dumb prices.
Agreed. I have a car like that which if I ever found in good enough condition, I would immediately pay more than it is worth for the nostalgia factor.
Yea this is a nice car and all but $20,000 with less than 40,000 miles nets a lot of Miatas 10+ years older in my area, even with used car prices right now. Heck Carvana has a 2013 Miata Club and my local dealer has a 2012 Grand Touring. Both have less miles than this and the GT is only $18,000.
I’d like this to be $4,900 but all in all, it’s a NP today. Dealing with the head unit is an easy swap.
This is a problem with Vroom too and in all states I suspect. I’ve bought two cars from Vroom and both times, getting title/tags is a nightmare. I’d have a better chance winning the lottery while being hit by lightning at the same time before seeing plates show up in a timely manner without 100 follow up calls.
“Van Life Instagram dorks” - You’re obviously not following them close enough as ambulances are popular for van life.
Yea, see I am not a Musk fan but this needs to work. There are too many places with a single choice on ISP or no choice. I will assume smart people work at Starlink and can figure this out too. Heck, my town, while considered rural (it really isn’t) has Comcast only. This is a prime target for Starlink and I’ve been…
It makes my brain hurt that Subaru spent all this money on the Wilderness trim Outback; lift, tires, PAINTING THE RECOVERY POINTS that aren’t even load rated. Heated seats and new x-drive. But they couldn’t be bothered to put the heated steering wheel in? For the car sold in snow climate and meant for outdoors?
Happened about two weeks ago. Had family leaving florida and they couldn’t check in or do anything else unless it was at a counter. Whole check in system was down. But flights weren’t grounded at least.
The pricing on this is good. Weird there’s no hybrid AWD version. I am still considering the Santa Cruz over this. The Hyundai should be faster which works for me (275hp/310tq with a DCT). The interior space is slightly larger and definitely more upscale it seems. I’m not bothered by the slightly smaller bed.
I went looking around for one of these oddly for a while. FIL had a regular one he loved. Hauled all kinds of crap in it (he owns a painting company) and I figured an SS one would be a fun, odd toy.
Price isn’t terrible but I want this to be $8k to get a NP. I’m on the fence considering what $10,000 with under 130,000…
I too had a 95 Escort with the 1.9 making 88hp. Also had an 84 Buick Skyhawk that also happened to make 88hp.
When I finally got an Escort with the Mazda 1.8BP and some bolt ons, I thought it was the fastest thing ever.
This exactly. The vehicle that fits my needs the most right now is an AWD minivan that I can throw some road oriented AT tires on and hook up a small trailer. The deal breaker is that I need the ground clearance too. I’m not crawling rocks but I used every bit of my Passport’s ground clearance and AT tires this winter…
It took me a while to get used to this when I moved from PA to NJ. And there are times where it’s annoying to wait for someone or I gotta let a dude with a dirty wand hit the windshield.
