Do you really think that's what people are doing? Do you think that people think, "Hmm, I don't like this policy, so I'll call it racist to discredit it"?

I'm sorry, I really don't follow you. …yes, it's good to try not to be racist and we shouldn't let people use excuses to try to get out of it? Why is this bad?
It is very hard to distinguish this from "Don't complain about something bad because it's better than it used to be." Is that what you're saying? Because that is not a good argument.
Hey, to be fair, I know some people who voted for Trump because they hate Black Lives Matter.
Get Bill to campaign harder and start being bold about things like police shootings. There was a reason she demolished Sanders among Black voters in the primary… they like her. But she took their support for granted and started campaigning exclusively to white women. That plus exhaustion with Trump and her fake…
More black and hispanic voters would have flipped Pennsylvania and Michigan (and Florida) for sure. The White Working Class had to do with the narrative of how election night worked, because those rust belt states were a big surprise. But that's because the polls were so wrong there and because it was so close in…
Uh, do you seriously think that discrimination can't come from weighing pros and cons logically? Obviously you can think your way to doing something racist; what are you even talking about?
This isn't true at all.
After the election, I saw a dude flipping out because a therapist was advertising special free group sessions for helping people deal with the results. The very idea that people would need help to deal with their emotions meant something bad somehow about free speech, because TRIGGERED COLLEGE CAMPUSES SAFE SPACES
I watched an interview with an old southern lady who voted Trump. She was talking about not wanting to be a minority in the US, and she said, "I'm sorry but, I went down to Miami and there were all sorts of ethnicities…"
Also, Clinton didn't lose because of the White Working Class; the same number of people voted for Trump as voted for Romney. Clinton lost because young people and racial minorities didn't vote. The democrats should have focused on race MORE.
Here's the thing, though: "check your privilege," is deliberately non-aggressive, non-threatening, and non-blaming. It means "Hey, not your fault, but be aware of the context of what you're saying."
I need a man who'll take a chance on a love that burns hot enough to last!
How will I know?
And if, by chance, that special place that you've been dreaming of leads you to a lonely place, find your strength in love.
I BELIEVE THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE
It's been a weird emotional journey with him, because at first I was like "holy shit, the animutations kid made something else famous," and then I stopped being surprised because he kept doing it, and then I was surprised again because holy shit he KEPT DOING IT.
The third actually made the most sense to me of all of them, but that might just be because it was the best made.
Just a note: The heavy majority of these movies makes no goddamn sense whatsoever if you've never read the books.
Seeing as how Bloom County ended with Donald Trump buying it and ruining it, this seems apt.
