“You think airlines will keep pilots, trucking companies will keep truckers, cites will keep bus drivers, or farmers will keep steering-wheel-holders on the payroll once autonomous becomes cost effective?”
Exactly. Uber pretends like building automobile factories is free. And that running those factories is free. And that maintenance and parking and electricity for their new fleet of driverless electric vehicles will be free. How much does the driver make again?
Uber loses money because they pay for 50% of the rides to try and gain market share. Not just from Lyft or the cab companies but market share in the form of people who might otherwise drive themselves and own their own car. Afraid that the passengers may not use the service if they actually had to pay for it, Uber…
Wanna bet on that?
If Uber is so concerned about profits the message hasn’t yet found a way to the bottom line. $3 billion in 2016 tells me Uber has conned enough investment cash that they are for the time being at least, totally unconcerned with profits.
You’re about 99% inaccurate. That tip function applies only to the UberTaxi service which exists only in New York City and comprises a very small fraction of Uber’s business there. It does not apply anywhere else in the world. Uber does not put aside a single penny for a gratuity.
Oh. You mean you’re cheap.
Threes? You gotta graduate high school before going to college. I didn’t see one single bounce pass!
Male athletes have a tendency to talk a lot of shit. Female athletes not so much. Maybe that’s why when they speak up on important matters off the field their voice is taken more seriously.
Oh
Oh. I gave right answer to the wrong question. Don’t blame me!
Really. They should have let him keep going. That was riveting.
Thurmon Munson died in a plane crash.
I don’t want to be a prick or anything but he was probably best known for his habit of holding grudges, starting fights, and throwing beanballs. Or more charitably, he was extremely competitive.
There’s a certain amount of pushing allowed in a jump ball they don’t allow for on a regular pass play. Odd considering how specific some rules in the NFL are written and enforced. But the fact is at slow motion the flag can come out on any play.
The winner doesn’t fix the fight. The loser does.
Did they consider umm... watching the fight?
UNSUSTAINABLE!!!!
He’s so ethnic!
