Different topic but why is it that violence against cats is such a commonly used plot device? Imagine the same scenes with puppies — I get so upset because those two things would be virtually the same amount of horrific for me, but it’s clearly considered much less horrific by the general public when it’s a cat being

:(

You rang?

Yes yes yes. This is why I loved it so much. The structure of the movie was chaotic and dark and random just like war is. There was no glorified violence. It was just grim and matter of fact while still holding out hope.

It’s the inside of a cocoa pod! But also a nightmare for anyone with texture issues / trypophobia

Sorry, my comment was unclear! I was explaining how her weight loss could actually in fact WORK as damage control — the public hates fat people, she’s more hateable when she’s overweight.

It genuinely is the future of food. There are already insect-based protein bars (a lot more palatable than just popping intact bugs into your mouth, imho). Several Mexican restaurants I know around New York serve insect based dishes. Also, as another pointed out below, it’s WAY cheaper and sustainable as a source of

Some of this twitter feed’s best work I think

I do this! My brain skips several steps ahead and then I get confused why no one knows wtf I’m talking about.

Same, same. I need this to happen, stat.

Great point! I think we too often jump to the conclusion that females (especially young ones) have no sexual motivation, because of the old trope that women aren’t as sexual of creatures as men are. They might like the idea of sending pics and the act itself isn’t something that should be demonized. It’s the coercing,

Polaroids are trendy again so I actually hope people bring this back.
