So anyone in the DC Metro area should expect to see constant transit delay notifications for the foreseeable future.

Great explanation.

Anker PowerCore+ 20100. It’s got huge capacity, good build quality, and a good set of ports - 2 type A (good old USB) that do 2.4A each, and a type C port that I’ve personally tested at nearly 3A so it should charge most any of your devices at full speed. Battery gauge is 10 LEDs, which is a minor thing but it does

It used to be a standing joke that it wouldn’t work right unless you made a blood sacrifice while building it.

I guess that whole network congestion issue miraculously disappeared.

I actually think Canadians should disregard much of this anti-sorry advice, which I think if by Americans, for Americans. Over the past few years, I’ve had to spend a lot of time travelling back and forth from the US, and the #1 difference I’ve noticed is the use of and reactions to ‘sorry’ there. People say it less

Well, the lawyers won’t let us do How to Get Away With Murder (presumably for copyright reasons). So we have to take the next best thing.

After having trying over 100 different external hard drives over the past 10 years, I have to agree with everything above. Pegasus also makes an awesome drive. Lacie 2big is pretty sweet as well (12TB), but noisy. So far Western Digital has been the most reliable. Stay away from Seagate!!

Remember what happened the last few times?

Yeah these numbers are pretty meaningless without some context.

Christina Stürmer is fun. I actually give my intro students a list of bands and stuff that I like (and sometimes we listen to a song now and then at the end of class) and encourage them to find music, movies, books, websites, etc. that they enjoy and practice like that. I personally learned a TON from music, and it’s

I literally never comment on lifehacker but I wanted to say I love love love Christina Sturmer. She made it very easy to kinda sing along and actually understand what I was singing.

Chiveeeeeeeeeee on from Tampa!

The UltraFire WF-502B. The real key is the 18650 rechargeable Li-Ion battery. These things put out crazy amounts of light and the battery lasts for well over an hour. Just watch out for counterfeits and make sure you get a quality 18650 battery from a known manufacturer (Panasonic, Samsung, Sony, etc). The flashlight

I use my Qi charger sparingly. The temperature change when fast charging is quite evident, and considering the heat generated from the battery during the charge. I can’t quantify the lifespan impact without doing some internet “legwork” but agreed heat generation from the battery is not optimum to battery life.

Top Gear speedo for the elderely.

Good stuff. Now it just needs Disconnect to stop everyone from tracking us.
