I have power in my car for USB devices (Bluetooth audio) no problem there, but the principle is what matters, Google Maps needs this feature.

I need this on Google Maps! Event and other road closure push notifications would be a wonderful perk to help avoid traffic around town.

I block ads for privacy and security as I don’t trust any advertising on mainstream sites. Plus, most ads are so obnoxious that no one wants to see them anyways.
