Agreed! I buy my own phones, usually the iPhone because it’s pretty easy to repair.

I use Google because it lets me search in a very specific way using Browse By Name queries.

Without that type of search available, my internet traversal speed would be reduced by about 25%

Now if only there was a zero-tracker-no-evil search engine that would support browse by name... I would like to see that design
