It’s smart to keep the updates rolling on the home users, they’re, not that savvy when it comes to computing. For us IT Pros, we have to control the updates, otherwise something will break and the user will have a bad day. Its our job to make sure that doesn’t happen often.

Just a warning on FileVault, its still a little buggy and can cause various issues with screen powerup and brightness.

You’re right on that, it’s way too picky, I want to learn German and how to say things semi-properly without looking like a fool. There is no fudge factor with the slang and formality... maybe it needs some feedback.

As far as the language goes, it’s pretty straightforward, I’d say they’re on-par for complexity and verbs. Spanish may have fewer masculin/feminine pronouns...

To affirm what the others are saying, German is pretty good to get into for English natives. Der/Die/Das is very hard to get straight, but a good portion of the words are pretty straightforward, make sense, and/or sound very similar in english.

I bring my lunch all the time here at university, so I goto class, eat lunch at work, help save the day in IT and then go home.
