LeBron wants control. The entire point of returning to Cleveland in the first place was because he knew he could dictate what he wanted to the organization and they would follow suit. He’s basically been the armchair GM since his return with his demands to trade for supporting cast and fire David Blatt.

I can’t seem to figure out why everyone keeps calling Dan Gilbert Cheap and Stingy, the guy has over paid average players by millions of dollars and paid a ton in the cap tax to keep Lebron’s guys around. He also isn’t the one who gave away all the assets. How is he a bad owner?

To be fair to Gilbert - this is the team Lebron wanted. Gilbert has paid over the tax each year to give Lebron the exact team he desired. So while Gilbert sucks, Lebron’s desires have hamstrung the team as well.

1000 out of 4000 didn’t make the move. 750 of those 1000 jobs have been filled by plano-ians. 250 is just the outstanding number of open positions out of 4000. Honestly getting 3/4 of your workforce to move is mighty impressive to me.
