Buying used car is a hit or miss thing. Good deals on sites goes away withing an hour as resellers religiously hunt for those. So if you see a good deal then you should be ready to make a deal within an hour. For this you need a auto research tool.

From extension developer point of view Chrome's extension framework is much simpler and clearer compared to firefox's. On Chrome extension updates are available immediately to public.

@acj540: The first versions of Adblock for Chrome were just bad but after Safari + safari extension framework came out, they indirectly fixed the Adblock issue (run adblock before page load) for Chrome.

I use Dev channel and Canary as I work on extension. Now I use chrome to test new features of extension. Once its finalized then start work on porting it to Firefox.

@kasakka: Firefox extension system is huge and I guess designed to build full blown applications (e.g. Komodo IDE or Calendar app). But for the purpose of creating simple extensions it has a steep uphill learning curve compared to Chrome or Safari extension curve. Firefox Extension team needs more manpower to make the

@Daniel Bentley: Chromium is Open Source. Mozilla should take chromium , remove google stuff from it and release it under Mozilla as Firefox Chrome alongside thee Firefox

@suprfluo001: try Ghostery addon, that will show who else beside Google is tracking you online. It offers to block the trackers. The addon is bought by some company in the business of ads.

@John T. Haller: I use Portable one also but recently found a problem that you loose all your settings in it when you upgrade (overwrite with) next release of portable.

This is cool news since I have created some chrome extensions (just search tech4computer on chrome). But please keep using firefox too as I have written some firefox extensions too and am porting one extension from chrome to firefox.

@xeno314: both adthwart and adblock on Google Chrome sucks. I have been using privoxy with chrome and opera. It works pretty good as a adblocker. Occasionally gets issue with link redirection in Opera because of privoxy.
