I’ve actually done the opposite a bunch of times - I fill up in Easton, PA (going eastbound) or somewhere in Westchester County (going westbound) because I refuse, on principle, to buy gas in New Jersey. And never have, except once on the Turnpike where I was running critically low and didn’t want to get on and off.

*sigh* Anybody know when the liquidation auction is going to be?

Perfection.

You know if they have a rack & pinion setup for steering or is it all servomotors/hydraulics?

Need to spec a steering wheel for it and I’m torn between “1989 Ford Econoline” or “Amazon gaming wheel”

Fashion some times hurts.

Aww man, I was eyeing that as well. Ssshhhh. I currently have two Mark Twos (one really a “Mark 1.5" which was a pre-production one) and they chooch still, years later.

That is my plan. To get one (or more) and then daily it. I have the shop and capability to work on them, so....

There may be dozens of us.

Hold up what Battlebots team are you on

They made this extremely unpleasant in the 3rd gen by positioning the engine smack in the middle of what would be a firewall. The 460 big block is horrific to work on in-situ, with the International diesel being a close second.

Ahoy, fellow Econotard. I have a flock of Internationals, one of which above in my own thread is being fed to the others.

I was inching fueling and boost up and up and ran out of balls. Went from ~8PSI (OEM fuel calibration and stock wastegate) to 10 to 12. It’s already terrifying for what it was in that state.

I currently have a Ford E350 with the 7.3 International engine torn most of the way down. It’ll be rebuilt and slightly upfitted with usual “Stage 1" mods to help reliability under boost. It previously was a testbed for a twin turbo install, and I tried my darndest to blow it up but it took 12 pounds of boost with all

What EMI testing? Just roll unshielded and set up clever waveguides everywhere and you have a rolling EW emitter station!

It will tip over before getting to the top of the mountain :(

Nor will you have to worry about an autonomous truck quitting on you the way a poorly-treated human driver might.

Dude. I would love to watch this Netflix Original. In the near but still familiar future, autonomous vehicles have now gotten smart enough that they’ll no longer put up with our shit and go on strike or
