This is the comment thread where it got into the incentives of an F-150 makes a Lariat F-150 cheaper than a comparable Ranger Lariat but only if you don’t add options the F-150. Anyway the comment chain is a good read.

He said the numbers but I forget them. It was still ridiculous in the way he compared to the F-150.

I hear you but this guy was talking about DD duty so the car like creature comforts ranks pretty high.

Check out the new ones. The Vtech kicks in sooner.

Elon: “I saw MBS (the Prince) pickup the riv-nut gun so I thought: BUMPERS SECURED. “

get the honda.

I believe Andrew said it’s about 1/3 as much as the most expensive F-150 and the most expensive Ranger is equal to the mid-level F-150 after it has sat on the lot for 6 months.

it means you can bring your own pillows and sheets, but you are still not going to get any sleep.

so supercab has the same length (6') bed as the supercrew, but they both sit on the same wheelbase?

Yeah I get that he was chining. What I strugged with (and still do) is the pilot yanking on that throttle like it’s a dime slot.

psshh. There is no “patronage of Ghost” without swayze/moore and the pottery wheel scene.

So you take what happens on the smaller sliding windows and crank that up to 13. That’s a tundra with it’s back window down.

In a Tundra, the window feature is not the dream come true you thought. It creates a vortex and sucks every piece of dirt and leaf into the cab and makes it feel like you’re driving inside a vacuum cleaner bag as the stuff swirls around your head.

ok that makes sense but this guy doesn’t seem to be getting any real air and he’s only dropping the throttle for an instant-it seems that what he is doing is more likely to upset the effective trim of the boat than save the motor.

is there room to retrofit a rumble seat in place of the trunk? that would be the ticket. Crash tests, schmash tests

Thanks. I mis-read it to say that LSD/bilsteins were only on the GT-S.

Can you get the LSD in the club?

Maybe like how in Days of Thunder you see Tom Cruise keep changing gears when in reality there is no shifting once you’re out of pit lane. Like in life, you’ve got to look busy otherwise the audience will think your job is too easy.

What is that lever that he is working like a pump handle? It doesn’t make sense to be the throttle and go from 0 to WOT and back to 0. Admittedly I don’t have a lot of experience on small pleasure craft.

Does the back seat still require a tight core to keep your body from falling forward? a 991 backseat feels like a luxury suite by comparison.
