I agree its based on drive cycle. I only know that my gmt900 will not register a drive cycle as relevant for the evap cycle unless the ambient temp is above a certain degree.

IIRC evap systems require fairly warm temp to run through test cycles (like at least 50 degrees ambient). It could be spring before this pops back up and we all get a good chuckle.
