It was a WRX...just not in America.

Body shape, headlights, grille, all look similar.

I don't get all the "looks like a Corolla" comments. The first gen WRX looked an awful lot like Corollas of the time period as well.

This really is a head-scratcher, especially if they're looking to price this more than the ZL1. I mean, at that high of a price point, I'm not sure that anyone other than diehard Camaro guys are going to want it. Maybe they'll fetch a ton of money at Barrett Jackson someday.

The 612 was a rather polarizing design for some people when it came out, if I recall correctly. But I've always generally liked the way they looked.

That mental image....

Smart man. My grandfather gave me some sound financial advice as well. He taught me the most important rule in finance: "Diversify yo bonds."

I'm calling bullshit. Senna's black 1993 NSX was kept in Sao Paulo and is owned by his family. It has the license plate BSS-8888 (BSS standing for Beco Senna Silva, Beco being a childhood nickname). And that car was road tested in Brazil a while back: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2013/04/ayrton…

Alex Penfold is a must to follow as well. Does a wonderful job hiding his watermarks in the background too.

Hey Ken, what are your thoughts on WRC possibly returning to the US? What would it take for a round of the championship to be held stateside, and do you think it could be successful?

I LOL'd.

I knew they were both same platform, but for some reason I thought the XTS was bigger? Perhaps I was wrong.

What about turning the XTS into a Buick? Park Avenue maybe? Slotted above the Verano and Regal?

Can't you send Mate over there? Or maybe Bill Caswell?

Agreed. The way I see it, even if Lexus wants to expand their market share in Europe (which I think is a good idea), now is not the time to start investing in niche Europe-only vehicles, like wagons and new diesel powertrains, because it's not like Europeans are going to be snapping up Lexuses anyway, given both their

Lexus, focus on the US. That's always been your big moneymaker, and let's face it: Europe is broke. We've seen their new car sales recently.

When life gives you Lemons, race Lemons.

Whoa, how did I turn grey on that post...
