I dont agree with you. But, take a star for that last sentence

Do you go to the bar to tell people to stop drinking and smoking?

yeah I mean it’s been a nice run. But how many Super Bowls have they won? How many World Series? Fucking amateurs.

I have so many comments and questions!

How much does this guy own? Is it like 10%, or some ridiculously low amount like it turned out Jay-Z owned with the Nets?

To me the problem falls into two groups:

Oh I understand. Sometimes life just happens, and getting a movie spoiled isn’t exactly the crime of the century. And there are always going to be some dummies out there, people really stretching the limits of the word “spoiler”. This article starts out trying to make this about them. But it’s clear the author, and

on second thought, i’d rather not argue with someone who thinks asking for no spoilers is an “insane and entitled take”. Good luck to you buddy!

I think you’ve misunderstood what the word “courtesy” means

99% of people asking for no spoilers aren’t complaining about reading an article or some shit like that. If I don’t want Endgame to be spoiled, I’ll avoid Endgame discussions. He won’t be in the NBA. But that’s really not the point. He’s providing services to Michigan State that are worth a lot of money, and getting nothing in return because of ridiculous “amateurism” rules.

In this specific instance I can see the argument, but Tom (and now Albert!) is making a more general point. I think they’re getting old and yelling at Twitter to get off their lawns.

You’re on the wrong side of this. Who gives a shit? It gets people excited! Sports is entertainment. Stupid, vague rumors feed into that.

I thought Dvora’s coverage of the Baylor scandal was outstanding. Not opinion driven, not sensationalist, non trying to make connections that aren’t there... just telling us what happened. Since then her stories have slowly gone downhill. I’m hoping this is the bottom.
