Plus it's without a doubt the most successful and personal project he's ever worked on. After season 1 was released, he called this show his favorite thing he's ever made.

He's said that he needs to live life for a while and possibly even get married and move on to the next stages before evening thinking about season 3.

Once I had that realization around Ep 9, I was like, "Nooooo fuck that guy!"

He came off very much like a cross between Anthony Bourdain and Bobby Flay: an energetic, charismatic guy who could be a bit of a testy blowhard. I loved the ambiguity behind all his scenes, and thought that this was a solid twist after it finally seemed like he was a good guy who was looking out for Dev.

Hell no. Fuck Pino. That guy tried to kill John Wick!

It's a show that I loved so much but still can't really believe ever existed. It was so profoundly silly and seemed to be deliberately written as a cult show. For a Saturday morning cartoon on the WB, it had a sensibility much closer to the more outlandish Nick toons around that time.

Cusack and Brody both co-starred in a truly awful Chinese epic with Jackie Chan a couple years ago. Their careers would basically be running in parallel if it wasn't for the occasional rescue from Wes Anderson.

My favorite part of this story is that it seems like Marc Webb was joke pitching the movie himself, and then Dwayne Johnson went ahead and ignored it and agreed to do it with Edgar Wright instead. Crafty like a true politician.

I've found it to be pretty solid too, though there are some logistical gaps for me such as how on Earth is it possible that Hydra has completely taken over to the extent where they've taken over the school system and all the teachers and students have already been indoctrinated. Meanwhile, a bunch of heroes are still

He's doing pretty fine on Star Wars with just a ton of big names. With his other ongoings, I feel like he's had better luck working with great artists before Marvel realizes what talent they have (Essad Ribic, Russell Dauterman).

people stumble and stammer and ramble on and on before even getting to a question, and I mean for minutes and minutes

What a helpful response! I appreciate it. I'll hold off until the once mythical day when a gap in my viewing schedule finally arrives.

I really liked Aaron's run, but I feel like Nick Bradshaw's more cartoony artwork led Aaron to writing towards those strengths. I still enjoyed it to the very end, but was disappointed that it felt like a very different book from those earlier Chris Bachalo-drawn issues. The first issue might even be my favorite start

At the very least, it's a shame that so few have attempted to replicate Ang Lee's method of producing segmented comic book panels onscreen. I can only think of Scott Pilgrim as a movie that went for the same thing, with a much more appropriate tone/story.

No, she's basically been treated like a new character since she was introduced in Batman Eternal. Same with Cassandra Cain in B&R Eternal.

The creators of Morning Glories - Nick Spencer and Joe Eisma - run an annual panel at NYC about the book. They tend to be really fun and you get a sense of how the book is being received and how the creative side is adapting to meet those expectations.

I was at the X-Files panel at NYCC with the recent revival season. Mega-fan Kumail Nanjiani was moderating and geeking out while being next to the creatives + David Duchovny himself. We had just watched the first episode and the excitement was palpable. The Q&A went along fine until the very end, when they asked for

Me too. I think I ended up enjoying it - and even Prometheus in retrospect - because of how strong Fassbender's character development was in this one.

I'm really interested in watching Twin Peaks, but I've never seen the original episodes. That goes along with the main problem of just having too many TV shows to watch. At this point, would it be worth watching the originals for the first time? Or just like the first season before jumping into the new one?

I was a lot more mixed on Stephanie's confused intentions and actions in this issue.
