What are some of your most disappointing sudden cancellations? The one that stands out to me most is Wildcats 3.0.

Morning Glories will probably hit the right spot. And how about Gotham Academy? Those are the two books I read that have the most Harry Potter-esque feel.

Stopping at the end of the Kang/Apocalypse Twins storyline is probably the right choice. Continuing till the end of the first run will only lead you into AXIS, which is almost the definition of skippable. Then there's the High Evolutionary story that is a hard PASS. Such a bizarre ending. They rebooted the cast and

Do you mean the original series by Christos Gage? Man, that book was a fun take on teen superheroes at a school. I generally dug all those characters. We don't have enough books like that anymore.

Fables takes some time to gain momentum, but when it's at its peak, there's nothing else like it.

I read:

Uncanny X-Force by Remender has my favorite depictions of Deadpool, Fantomex, Psylocke, and Angel I've read. Plus that art! Oh man. It's honestly my top recommendation for anyone when it comes to X-books.

She honestly blended in better than Coach.

I loved the "backwards" mention when Schmidt presented Nick the options for exiting after the goosebumps walkaway. It was a subtle callback for his tendency to awkwardly moonwalk out of a room.

There's always that narratively convenient apartment across the hall!

I've honestly run colder on Morrison's work than other people have. I absolutely loved We3, All-Star Superman, and much of New X-Men, but I struggled through Final Crisis and most of his Batman.

Batman: Earth One came out not too long after Snyder's Batman launched out of the New 52 as DC's flagship title. I completely agree that Johns went for this insane over-the-top version of the character because he knew he couldn't compete with the work Snyder was doing. He couldn't rely on his old "recreate stuff from

JMS on Amazing Spider-Man was legitimately one of my favorite runs for the character - at least for the first half while John Romita Jr. is the artist. I also enjoyed Supreme Power quite a bit, before he rage quit the series after extended delays. Even Rising Stars was decent.

I've only been using it for 2 weeks and the only ads I've seen were during New Girl, which provided one at the start and one at the end (which I skipped by just returning to the home page) based on some syndication agreement. It was weird because other Fox shows - like Brooklyn 99 - don't have a similar ad feature.

I recently got on the ad-free version of Hulu Plus (through my generous friend's account) and it's honestly the most valuable service of them all so far. The library of recent TV shows is pretty deep and I can watch most of my favorite shows on the next day. Plus they're getting their own original content (11.22.63,

You hit the nail right on the head there. The Young Justice —> Teen Titans transition was a painful one to go through. Having never read New Teen Titans, I also didn't understand why I was supposed to care about the returning characters from that book. There was such a big age gap between the New Teen Titans and Young

She's actually the first name that appears in the entire article, as one of the artists who may already be on readers' radar.

Regarding the Yellow-Card Man: it's hard to say if leading Sadie to Jake's secret would actually mess more with the timeline by bringing another person closer to his shenanigans. Unless the idea was to creep her out and drive her away.

I'm so happy they went the mini-series route with this book instead of a movie adaptation. I love the small town plot and I know it's the first thing that would have been cut from a screenplay.

Totally agreed. I remember the argument around the time was: "You can't tell Wally West's origin without Barry Allen." So they decided to go back to Barry because it was a more "pure" origin that was more movie-friendly for general audiences. Those stupid Rebirth series were when DC started to throw legacy out the
