I am going to be very direct with you. You and people of similar backgrounds need to get these schools on your radar, and get these kids on your radar, because they have much bigger problems than not having enough AP classes available, or having to choose between art and music.
Thank you for demonstrating some of the inequities for people who aren't aware of them. I once worked in a classroom where we had a roll of duct tape for holding the kid's shoes together.
God I am such a sap but I want to hug every single one of these children and to tell them to never let the world get to them and to always play the damn xylophone and live life with this much heart.
Anyone else catch when the Stripey Dress girl in back totally Left Sharks the dance movements? Keep on with yo' bad self, Stripey Dress girl!
I gotta say, yes, having five million xylophones is expensive. Most schools don't even have the space for something like that. This was super cute, but also made me slightly angry that the kids I teach don't have access to something like this. Not even close.
As someone who hates shopping for my 18-month-old, because everything seems to be pink and ruffly, I agree. Parents pick out their young child's clothing, and it's reflective of their own style. I wouldn't wear pink ruffles, and neither will my child (until she decides that's what she wants to wear), because I don't…
Aww! I saw this a few days ago. My daughter goes to school with a few of these kids. I am so proud they are getting a bit of notoriety.
I'm probably the biggest curmudgeon I know, but whenever I see little kids rocking out like this, that lump of coal in my chest explodes like the Grinch.
Look, everyone on this thread just really cares about North. They feel really bad for her. I mean, not really bad, it's all just a pretense for judging Kim for being a bad mother (which likely goes back to thinking she's a slut for making a sex tape - you can't really say that here though amirite?). Besides, you know…

I totally agree. Kids wearing anything besides what's been deemed "kids' clothes" (by kids clothing companies trying to sell a product) are no longer kids. Kim is fucking up North's natural aging process and the entire time continuum for the universe and it's uncool. Everyone knows that wearing black is bad for babies…
been dere done dat
north west is a little girl with cute clothes when she goes out, and from what i can see of all the at home pix from the kardashian klan, spends the majority of her time in a onesie. if everything she was dressed in was in pinks and purples people would be vomiting w glee. she's 1000% fine. i found one outfit that was…
fuuuuuuuck that, anna is full of shit. north west is a little girl in clothing she can move in just fucking fine.
I like seeing North wearing clothing that the power of advertising taught me isn't toddler-wear. If I didn't see it on a baby on tv or in a catalog (where I was being told to buy it), I know it's wrong! You see, companies that make babies' clothes are obsessed with ensuring the babies' comfort (definitely not making…
I'm so over people being judgy about what babies wear. If it's my baby and I wipe its ass* I'll put it in anything I goddamn well please until it can tell me not to.
And so when an advertiser does not include people who look like me in their campaigns, my presumption is it does not want/need people who look like me to purchase its product.
I didn't watch because I didn't give a happy rat's ass about any of the movies. They weren't relevant to me this year. (OK, except for Grand Budapest Hotel, but I have a sore spot about that because I thought Moonrise Kingdom was a much better movie)
Why are you suspending him why he is Innocent until proven guilty? What happened to Innocent until proven guilty and due process?
