Once upon a time, it seemed nearly every race weekend they’d finish by playing the German national anthem, followed by the Italian national anthem. It got to the point where it was one long song in my head. It was nice to hear it again.

It doesn’t matter! The week I was there, I met two guys who were driving a 1970's Land Rover around the Nordschleife. They weren’t even close to quick, but they were having fun.
Well, that makes at least 3 V-wagons that have made the trip across the ocean. My visit was partially inspired by Motor Trend taking their long-term test V-wagon (with Michigan plates) to Germany a few years ago. Surprisingly, I saw another CTS-V wagon while I was there. It had Swiss plates, though, so a little bit…
