It would look better, I agree, but the ‘Ring is a lot like rally racing when it comes to spectators and videos. You end up with 15 seconds of your car going around one or two corners, and then you wait for ten minutes or so. You’d need to hire dozens of camera crews or maybe a drone to do it right.

I thoroughly agree with the concept of taking 4400 lb American v-8 wagons to the ‘Ring.

The last time I saw one was this past winter. It had dents all down the passenger side. I guess it zigged when it should have zagged.

I was there last year, and I saw this driving around the ‘Ring. Slowly. I talked to them later in the parking area. It was two fellows named Sam and Josh who had driven over from the UK.

It was already in the country when I bought it. It was imported as a limited-use utility vehicle. Near as I can tell, there are actually about two dozen in the country.

It's a pretty good list. I know Gran Turismo was at least partially responsible for bring cars like the STI, the Evo, and the GT-R to America, but my favorite has to be the one car GT inspired me to buy.
