I think it must be a rite of passage at Jalopnik. Now, Mr. Sorokanich has joined the ranks of Alanis King (https://jalopnik.com/the-most-entertaining-explanation-of-differential-aroun-1752885626), Chris Perkins (https://jalopnik.com/ten-videos-every-car-enthusiast-needs-to-watch-1693485136), Chris Perkins again

No, the right lane must right left.

I followed Formula 1 in the pre-Schumacher years, when the commentators were openly mocking Ferrari during the races. Then, I watched the turnaround, as Ferrari gradually became competitive again over several years. Eventually, they grew to dominate the sport. Since that time, for me, the F1 “theme” has always been

Which is particularly sad when you consider how much better the Gandini styled prototypes looked.

Anyone from a country that contains this (Hatton Cross roundabout, near Heathrow) can’t complain about other countries’ roundabouts:

Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve seen an increasing number of cars on the highway that start to pass a semi truck, get close to the trailer tires, and then slow down and match the speed of the truck. I don’t know what the reason is. Maybe they get scared? Maybe the gravity of the massive truck captures their cars? No

I’m a little surprised I haven’t seen this one yet. It went a bit viral in the US about 15 years ago, but it’s originally from the 80's. (No CGI!)

I’m afraid that while that one was built on the Corvette platform, it still had a Northstar engine.  (GM had gotten it a bit more sorted by that point, at least.)

The one with the Corvette engine, you say?

Okay, I’ll bite.  What’s the first law?

I liked those, but I lust after the Holden equivalent. AWD and an LS V-8.

Look at the way the top of the grille sweeps back almost to the A-pillar. That’s a Pontiac.

I don’t think the Finns are trying hard enough.

You can’t get in line at Geno’s without seeing a message that black people are cop killing animals.

You can pretty easily. Mine’s an automatic. There’s a (half) passenger seat right where the gearshift is in the manual version. So mine does have two roll down windows. If you’re by yourself, you can roll them both down at the same time. (It’s a really narrow truck.)

That’s a good question.  I drove a manual version once, but that was over ten years ago.

Next time you visit Duncan Imports, look at their white Daihatsu Midget II. It’s a manual, thus a single seater. Here’s the driver’s (right) door:

They’re not as slow as you think.  I have an automatic (I wanted a passenger seat), and it’s quite peppy up to about 35 MPH.  I don’t really have any difficulty keeping up with normal traffic.
