Oh man, I just don’t know.  The stress of the series was bad enough.  I loved that ending, just believing that Jesse got a new lease on life, and drove for the open road. I don’t know if I want to see what happens to him next.

I think the argument is the fact that his 1 million dollar investment seemed to “cosign” a massive symbol of the hyper-gentrification Brooklyn was experiencing. Basically, in Do The Right Thing terms, instead of throwing the trash can, Jay Z decided to defend Sal and tell the black people “stop protesting.”

For all the faults, the frustrations, the dead ends, the unexplained, the unanswered, the erratic character shifts, the underwritten stories, the narrative cheats and the simple time wasting...I’m absolutely going to miss Legion.
