I never finished the series, but as long as there’s more Kristin Ritter, I’m in!

It ends with Jesse walking into a Cinnabon and seeing Saul is his modern day disguise. The two lock eyes, share a laugh, and the end credits roll
Vince Gilligan > George R.R. Martin
Oh man, I just don’t know. The stress of the series was bad enough. I loved that ending, just believing that Jesse got a new lease on life, and drove for the open road. I don’t know if I want to see what happens to him next.
Hey, how about we Black people own the plantations! We’ll be better able to motivate the Black slaves with an inside perspective! Black baseball players with strong upper arms will be the whip slingers. Black marathin runners will catch any runaways. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Civil Rights Dreams fulfilled!
There’s no difference between striking workers and scabs either, huh? You’d cross a pocket line and work as a scab too, wouldn’t ya? Everybody’s got bills; as long as you get to pay yours, screw those people marching outside!
The difference is that Kap and Reid are getting paid by white people but being an owner means making money off the backs of black people. It’s not the same situation at all.
I think the argument is the fact that his 1 million dollar investment seemed to “cosign” a massive symbol of the hyper-gentrification Brooklyn was experiencing. Basically, in Do The Right Thing terms, instead of throwing the trash can, Jay Z decided to defend Sal and tell the black people “stop protesting.”
For all the faults, the frustrations, the dead ends, the unexplained, the unanswered, the erratic character shifts, the underwritten stories, the narrative cheats and the simple time wasting...I’m absolutely going to miss Legion.
I love the Bash Brothers a shameful amount. It’s like a glorious fever dream.
You said what I was trying to come up with.
Is it possible that it’s maybe not outright homophobia, but still pretty shitty to criticize someone for not being gay the way you want them to be (politician or not)?
“THAT’S WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR” is a big one for me. Also Roger’s “Have a drink, it’ll make me look younger.”
I too use “Not great, Bob!” all the time, but also “THAT’S WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR!” and “Average” (from Roger: “Couldn’t sleep. Stayed up, watched the sunrise.” Don: “How was it?” Roger: “Average.”).
Shut the door, have a seat.
Probably doesn’t want to drive behind department stores looking for free ones in the exact sizes he needs?
Because.
why on earth is kawhi buying his own boxes?
At what point do we stop normalizing harmful artificial stressors?
Can Splinter cut it out with the lame hit pieces please?
