If only the people of Cleveland could have gotten this sort of double-negative out Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel....

Rovell, meanwhile, is angry that Watt wore a Nike shirt with a Reebok hat.
Well, like I said, as a kid it’s easy to buy into the narrative. My own kid used to go to school with a son of a member of the U’s 87 & 89 championship teams, and that dude definitely was/is a good guy.
As a kid, I was vulnerable to the “good guys/bad guys” narratives. So Penn State beating Miami in the Fiesta Bowl (?) after the ‘Canes showed up to dinner in fatigues comes to mind.
For the sake of efficiency, the Screamer vertical should be merged with the Legal Blitz vertical.
Saw the headline, thought of this:
A Blues win tonight doesn’t even get them past San Jose.

If we’re talking about things to eat AT a bbq instead of things to eat WITH bbq (in any setting such as, say, your local rib joint), then anything you can eat with your hands should rank higher than anything you can’t.
This is better than mine.
Charitable hypothesis: he wants to give the pitcher a second to compose himself, so as the next better steps in he’s going to call time and clean off the plate? It’s like when you see a catcher call time out to go “talk with his pitcher” right after the home plate ump takes a foul tip off the mask.
I guess some guys just don’t have the superior genetics of a Roger Clemens or a Barry Bonds....
In true Deadspin photoshop tradition, I’m guessing we’ll soon see both (1) Dan Snyder standing with his foot on the bear’s head while giving us a thumbs-up and (2) Eli Manning standing above the bear and taking a photo with his phone.
Looks like you found your answer! I only followed one link, and it wasn’t the right one to answer your question. Well, at least if you ever hear anyone at your local bar talking about “efficient breach” you’ll know (1) what they’re talking about, and (2) that they are a law student and not an actual lawyer. :)
I might not be surprised at all. ;)
Could be. Especially if Rachel Phelps was involved.
