I know a lot of Mazda3 people don’t like sedans, but I honestly think they should seriously consider the 6 if the new 3 doesn’t meet their needs. You can get into a GT with the turbo engine for like $27,000. Its faster then the 3 with just as nice of an interior with back seat you can use. The trunk is plenty big.

I currently drive a Mazda6 with the 2.5L turbo and while I love it, assuming I wanted and upgrade in 5 years Mazda did not really have anything to offer me. But a mild hybrid straight 6 GT with rear wheel drive bias. That I can get into.

Since 2007 my wife and I have purchased 5 new cars. Of those experiences I have had one truly terrible experience (bait and switch). My last 2 car buying experiences have been almost pleasant. If car companies wanted to incrementally improve the car buying experience I have two suggestions.

I am an Industrial Arts/Technology/STEM teacher, I knew this was a school project the second I saw it. As for the people saying, “but this was for college?” When I was in college there was a design class that people “out of major” could take. I have personally witnessed college students attempt to use a hot glue gun

He made the snout a little bit better, and the rest of it much worse.

This guy essentially wrote, “I want a used, Japanese CUV” and you guys act like you never heard of a Rav4, CRV or Forrester before.  Although I'm the idiot who would buy the Mitsubishi in this situation.

I crossed shopped these two cars and went with the mazda. If you need rear seat room, and I did, the Mazda or Accord 2.0T is the better choice. Also out the door prices when I was shopping the Kia was actually significantly more expensive.(I believe this has changed though)  However, the Kia has RWD and thats worth

I had a 2012 Mazda3 and that thing was crazy loud.  Maybe its just in comparison but my 2019 Mazda6 is really quiet in comparison.  It also gets good scores on road noise from motor trend, I dont consider this a weakness in my car.

The reason is FWD sedans are cheaper than similarly sized crossovers and drive nicer. 35k sounds like a lot, but I actually paid 27,000 for my Mazda6 Grand Touring which is the same car minus a few luxury features. (Heads up display, cooled seats, real ‘napa’ leather) It’s a really nice car for that money. The author

I’m not really that worked up about the software locking, thats just the future of everything for better or worse.  It does seem like Tesla is making it as confusing as possible to actually buy this car.  Like if I actually wanted to test drive a Tesla, I would not know where to begin.

Yeah I live in the NE and I get jealous when people run their hypothetical electric car savings calculations in these comments.  My electricity is often 70% more expensive.

Not for me, these hyper cars are essentially art projects at this point. Most will rarely be driven, they don’t really fall into the category of transportation or a race car.  I have a hard time caring at all about them  I appreciate rich peoples willingness to fund such engineering projects though.

I mean to be fair sometimes you want cheap alibabba crap but don't want to wait for it to ship on a slow boat.

After reading all these comments I can’t decide if trading in my Boxter S back in the day for a GTI was the best decision of my life or the worst decision of my life.  The damn car was a joy and dead reliable, until it isn't I suppose.

The Model X kinda looks cool in press photos, but on the streets covered in road grim they look like minivan-ish blobs. I still like the S, I don’t hate the exterior looks of the 3 but I'm not sure it really looks as premium as its price implies.  (If you care about that sort of thing)

I had no idea there were so few of these made, I remember them being a cheap but weird car on the used market a decade or so ago. Who doesn't love cheap and weird??? This is not cheap.

I bought a Mazda6 last summer, I went to 3 dealerships before I found one that was remotely interested in selling me a car.  One refused to let me look at the car because a salesman I worked with 5 year earlier was out that day.  Another made me drive the N/A version of the car because the Turbo “wasn’t ready” even

Man a lot of Jalops are hating on this thing. Sure its huge and expensive with a underwhelming engine, but if I actually lived a lifestyle that called for an off-roading truck I would buy this thing in a second. I think people are already anticipating dudes who buy this simply cause it looks cool, and while I

This thing was used as an Uber or some other Livery, CP

Yes the engine and the 6speed auto are a good match on the Mazda6 Turbo especially for cruising around and commuting. My only complaint other then simply missing shifting, is that the engine comes back to life over 4k and I don't have the muscle memory to enjoy that using the paddle shifters.
