My friend and I had a long conversation about all Real Housewives franchises and people today, and I forgot these aren’t actually people I know. It boggles my mind how much I like the shows ...

Oh, hey, Marshall’s and TJMaxx! I forgot about those. That’s genius. They always have lots of affordable stuff that you might not have heard of but is not half bad.

Definitely fresh.

I mean I might but considering how she’s been acting lately it doesn’t seem too far fetched. The whole thing had driven me straight to the bottle though. She’s at a friends sleep over so i’ve just been drinking all day. Which is terrible I know but I don’t know what else to do. We’re going to talk about it on Monday

The rescue pom...

Our big girl mutt isn’t so much afraid of things, but she freaks out at reflections of light, and laser pointers. She’s like a 90lb cat when it comes to light on walls. Annoying, but endearing.

our rescue, bellamy, is really skittish around bigger dogs. he’s blind in one eye and has a bunch of miscellaneous scars, so i think he was probably beat up by other dogs when he was still on the streets :( he’s the. biggest mush, so he was probably the kid who got his lunch money stolen by all the bullies.

posting under burner for obvious reasons .... so I have been having serious thoughts about stepping out on my marriage. Where do I begin. For starters, our relationship has always been tumultuous. We are bad at communicating, I mean we literally just tried to discuss our financial situation and it went down in flames

My dog is afraid of:
1. Clothes
2. Vacuum
3. Water
4. Fidget Spinners
5. The “Tiger Tail” massage thingie for my shoulder
6. My bike
7. Brooms
8. Trash cans
9. The fan (standing)
10. The fan (ceiling)
I could go on...

But again - the face! Worth it. <3

Penny is no more - her name is now Willow, because Amy was answering to Penny too. This first week of having another dog has been very interesting, as we’re getting to know her and she’s getting to know us (and our vet, who after Willow and Amy’s joint appointment is now in possession of my 2 arms and 3/4 of a leg).

Now playing

I have two suggestions:

#1) keep your dating pool as wide as possible. Be open to anything. You may meet someone older than you that ticks all the boxes even though you may not actively be wanting someone older (or divorced, or with kids) or you may meet someone who is much much younger (as is the case with myself .

45 going on 46 here and perpetually single. I’ve embraced it with the thought that some day I’ll meet someone. But now I’m thinking that just may never happen. I’m content (mostly) have friends, career, a great dog and lots of travel but I sometimes bum out that I’ve never met “the one.” Any love stories out there

It’s my 35th birthday tomorrow. That looks weird to even type. Halfway through the 30s already. Wtf. My older daughter will be 8 in a few weeks. Wtf. TIME. You crazy son of a gun.

I had a glorious pizza today. Goat sausage, fiddleheads, grana padano, apricots, spruce tips, spinach apple pesto. NOM. What you eating?

I eloped yesterday! It was small and quick as hell and awesome.
