Kind of appropriate that it looks like a Scirocco to you...the design was Giugiaro’s original proposal to VW for the 2nd generation Scirocco, but they decided to design in-house instead, so he sold the design to Isuzu. 

Yes! I love hearing these stories because this is exactly what I hope movies like these accomplish. I was like sixteen when Rush came out and it had a very similar effect on me, where I’d kinda known about racing, but I was so moved by that film that it changed the direction of my life.

From my experience in the car business turn over is high for several reasons:

Convertibles rule. Not so much for when it’s sunny out, but between 40ºF-75ºF or warmer at night? Oh yeah, baby. Honestly it’s like all my favorite parts of motorcycling with significantly less danger and inconvenience.
