It’s really impressive how someone can be awful in two entirely different phases of their career. I mean, sucking on MTV in the 1990s and then sucking on Fox 20 years later? That’s a rare kind of not-talent.

I presume he was grabbing it on behalf of his kid, not to be a dick.
More recently, can we add Justin Turner in there for the way he holds the bat against his back for so long before getting set in the box that there’s a pine tar streak on his jersey?
Lot of people bitching about this, but as a White Sox fan (I know...), we had the pleasure of watching Mark Buehrle pitch, and he never used 20 seconds between pitches. The games he started lasted less than 2.5 hours on average and he once threw a complete game in less than 2 hours (to be fair, the opposing pitcher was…
Let’s be honest: there’s only a handful of sports owners who actually give a shit about competing for championships. Why? Because they know that in this day and age, people are gonna pay for the experience of being at the game. I live in Chicago and work with people who literally brag about being at a regular season Cu…
You said it better than I could. It’s fun to dunk on anything Pats related, but the underlying story here, and what makes this truly despicable, is that this story - as the Jupiter PD rightfully emphasized - is about young women being sold into sex work against their will. I mean, in this context it doesn’t even feel…

Criticize Costas all you want, but remember: it’s never too late to do the right thing. I’d rather he take a stand now than continue to carry the NFL’s water to his grave.
Read the comment I replied to for context. That person suggested that Kaepernick and Reid were giving up their principles once they got the cash. My reply was that the only reason they received the settlement was because they stuck to their principles. I never suggested that cash was their objective.
Do you...have you...do you actually even watch hockey? I mean, yeah, the way the league handles promotion is shit compared to any other sport, but the product on the ice is fine. Goons and thugs haven’t been a thing for most of the past two decades, and scoring is fine. Even the worst scoring team (Anaheim) scores…
He got the cash by fighting for his principles. If he had no principles he wouldn’t have sued, or taken a knee in the first place.
Men talking:
Shhhhh...don’t tell a soul.
Is it just me, or is watching James Harden eat shit on the court extremely pleasurable for some reason? I don’t even hate the Rockets, I just dislike Harden on a level I previously only felt for Kobe.
Can’t believe it took this long for someone to adapt Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash for the big screen.
I for one can confirm we checked out before the half and came back in the 4th quarter. We paused it on the DVR for dinner and dog walking, and as we were fast forwarding through it, my 75 year old mother said “can you just play it? I want to watch football.” My wife - God bless her - said “that’s not football.”
“Part of the problem...is that these kids have probably never interacted with / known a native person in their life.”

Also, NFL overtime rules are BULLSHIT. The one thing the NCAA gets right is their football OT rules. Just sayin’.
