What bothers me more is that they didn’t bring over the retractable iPad on the dash that is present on the A3/6/7/8 to the new A4/5. With virtual cockpit, I really don’t care to have another huge screen statically posted on the center.

I concur. I ether ran through all their games straight through and completed them happily or got distracted by another release, shelved it but eventually came back to it to finish it with a happy face. F04 on the other hands, I’ve shelved it in distraction, but god, I don’t want to go back to it.
