OK there is no way you guys aren’t shading the bro-chads over at Deadspin. And I agree with the shade. Few things more obnoxious than aloof white boys whose aloofness is courtesy of them having no skin in a game that could end with a white supremacist in the oval office.

As a Yankees fan, this is a good and correct summation of the situation.

Nah. Pre-2004 you guys were kind of fun. “Grr Yankees” you’d say.

Cardinals fans were always assholes, the Red Sox winning titles has made their fans assholes. So really all that did is double the assholes.

I came here to post this but you beat me to it.

I would root for the Red Sox to win the World Series, but I’m afraid that kind of success would cause the Boston sports fan base to lose the generosity and good natured friendliness that they are famous for, and turn them into a bunch of loud, obnoxious, arrogant, fuck butts.

Red Sox fans are Patriots fans. Patriots fans are scum.

I second this counterpoint.

In that case: No.

Highly anticipating the Red Sox fans showing up to argue that Betts should be MVP, Ortiz should be in the HOF, Porcello should win the Cy Young, Pedroia should be Rookie of the Year, Jackie Bradley should be Miss Universe, Craig Kimbrel should win the SS gold glove...

Counterpoint: No.

He would shadow WRs last year. He pretty much shut down Odell.

Because “Antonio Brown” has like 7 guitar solos and Josh Norman just bought his first Squier Stratocaster 16 months ago and he’s still learning his scales. He can do “Big Me” by Foo Fighters, though.

As a Hawks fan who has spit (metaphorically) in Kap’s face a number of times, my respect for him tripled upon his initial protest, and I figured, what with Sherman’s political bent and Baldwin’s general “fuck everyone” attitude that the Seahawks would soon get in on this.

Eh, I'm sure when the big moment comes the Seahawks will probably pass.

In that case, great! The Ice Bucket challenge raised quite a bit of money and awareness, and there have been some pretty serious breakthroughs in ALS research because of that.

Or maybe, just maybe, people actually care about the subject. I know, hard to wrap your head around, huh?
