Why is it horrible? You’re trying to offload the responsibility of disposing of your unwanted belongings onto somebody else. You don’t want them, why would other people?

Yeah, I mean, making other people deal with all your garbage is definitely easier than doing it yourself. But seriously, I think probably 90% of the time spent by employees or volunteers at those thrift stores is sorting through and disposing of the crap they get and can’t resell.

Yeah, I think that’s just adulthood. I have had a similar experience as I’ve gotten older and I don’t use marijuana at all.

I say this gently, but I think your anxiety is making you believe that a lot of normal effects of aging are worse than they are and due to your own behavior rather than just getting older. And I think it’s quite possible you’d be just as anxious if you hadn’t smoked all that weed in your life.

This is exactly my problem with the fucking Boomers. They had everything handed to them and then turned around and pulled up the ladder behind them. Labor protections, affordable education, affordable housing, wage growth. All of it is gone now and then they have the gall to call us entitled for pointing that out.
