The anime link is just a link to BD Anime, and not specifically to titles that are on sale. Also, the titles I'm noticing that are for sale aren't at much of a discount, really, considering the price Amazon typically has them at.

Everyone needs to buy Summer Wars, it's okay.

The "Endgame Difficulty Spike" is sort of a recurring thing in the Kirby series. The final boss, and especially the "True" final boss, if there is one, tend to be massively harder than the rest of the game. Recent Kirby games have had extra modes, like the Boss Rush, that add another layer of challenge for the

NOOOOO! We need Mewtwo back, not Lucario. :(

Someone got Ys in my Final Fantasy and I LIKE IT. Also: Glad to see a lot of love for Ys in the comments. :3

If you're looking for challenge AND exploration, try Amazing Mirror for GBA. Return to Dream Land is pretty intense on the harder difficulty, but there isn't quite the level of exploration and reward as there was in Dream Land 2.

UUUGGGGHHH...

Looks like I'm buying Puppeteer, Rain, Thomas Was Alone, and Velocity Ultra tomorrow... Dammit. Just as I was starting to get a good rhythm on finishing my games from 2013, too.

There was plenty of context, but there wasn't enough character interaction for the amount of empathy the game expected you to have for the two worlds at the end.

Honestly, the only shortcoming I felt LBW had was that the game lacked exposition, and as a result, didn't do a good job of drawing you into its world. At the same time, you could also call that its strength, because it allowed the game to be direct. There was nary a sliver of filler or fluff.

Well, considering that the bulk of the team working on Mighty No. 9 is the same team that has been making all the Mega Man games for the past ten years, we probably shouldn't expect a new game for a while anyway. Mega Man games haven't been made by a first-party Capcom team in a really long time. They were just

Still waiting for Mega Man ZX 3. Advent is easily my favorite Mega Man game.

The ZX series is Mega Man X + Metroid. Do the math. :D

The HD version of Kingdom Hearts and Birth By Sleep are updated with the same camera controls as KHII, wherein you control the camera via the right analog stick. It doesn't fix ALL the problems, but it helps a lot.

I think I got one of those pins, but you know, I just don't remember. I spent a good while saving up for Game & Watch Ball.

OoT's Ganondorf gives his reasons in Wind Waker, and the mythos of why multiple incarnations of Ganondorf are evil and seek the desecration of Hyrule is laid out at the end of Skyward Sword. A game starring Ganondorf would be neat (I've always wanted a game about ALttP's Imprisoning War), but it's hardly necessary to

I saw that and immediately jumped on it. I don't think I've even spent Coins in over a year, so after buying a WiiU and a 3DS XL, I had a solid 1900 Coins saved up. It's good to see a decent reward show up again. I deeply lament not being able to get that Kirby Anniversary Coin.
