With most games you can. Terranigma has a lockout chip installed in the cartridge that prevents it from playing in non-PAL consoles.

Link Between Worlds was an absolute masterpiece of a Zelda game, with puzzles and design so amazingly clever that you'd almost think it was made by someone other than Nintendo. Zelda games have always had the highest level of polish, but they rarely feel smart in the way that LBW did. In a year that was bereft of new

Don't listen to this guy. Yarn was different but had the charm of 100 games.

What makes Colors and Lost World so good is that the story and characters don't take themselves seriously. Adventure 1-2 had decent stories, but were honestly too dramatic. That same style was carried all the way to Unleashed, and gave us some cringe-inducing plots and scenes over the years.

Sonic X was basically that. They re-told the stories of the Adventure games and explained why the games took place on Earth instead of Mobius.

There is probably no possible way a Sonic the Hedgehog film could be any good, so hopefully it will be stuck in development hell like every other film adaptation of a game.

Favorite controller? Gotta be the Wavebird. While the tiny D-Pad sucked for directional movement and the C-Stick was too small for proper dual-stick gaming, neither of those inputs were really made with those things in mind (which is both to and against Nintendo's credit). Games that were made for the GCN were

I wouldn't doubt one of the stages in the 3DS version is the final room from Find Mii. Which would make the Dark Lord similar to Kraid in Melee's Brinstar Depths, or the Legendary Pokemon in Brawl's Spear Pillar.

Attempted to control my PS4 using a Vita via the systems' Remote Play feature but managed little more than a slideshow on my never-ideal Brooklyn, NY Internet connection. Jason had more success using a PS4 and Vita in Manhattan but needs to test this feature more before we can tell you how reliable it is. In my house,

I love the series, but they really haven't done anything interesting with the formula since Four Swords Adventures. The last three Zelda games changed the way you interact with the game, but didn't do much other than that.

Please, Sakurai. Please make Marth like he was in Melee. I LOVE Melee Marth, but Brawl Marth just felt... off. I couldn't put my finger on why.

I still play the mini-games on Stadium 2 from time to time. They were both really fun games.

While we're on the topic of "Blockbuster Memories"...

Surely they could have just released a patch that discontinued user-based Spotpassing. Did they really have to end Spotpass delivery from developers? I love getting those! :(

I think that the "T" rating just really needs to be re-thought. I mean, we've had "E10+" for a good ten-ish years now. Why are games like Halo still being rated "M"? For consistency? Please.

There IS a rating above "M", but major retailers (Wal-Mart, Target, and I think GameStop as well) refuse to stock "AO" games. For that reason, game developers constantly play a game of back-and-forth with rating boards like the ESRB to ensure the game stays in the "M" range.
