I only played the first 3 games, but I honestly did not like Halo 3 at all. The campaign was bland, both in terms of story and actual gameplay. I practically had to force myself to finish it. Halo 2, I thought, had an amazing campaign with a great deal of diversity. The Covenant sections absolutely made the game, and

I know, and honestly, I feel like I'm going to like SPM more because of that.

I'm still on the fence about this one. I played the first two Paper Mario games for the first time earlier this year, and to be honest they aren't very good compared to LotSS and M&L. Despite that, I did find some things to enjoy in the first Paper Mario. I really liked the "Partner" system and I loved the organic

My girlfriend and I were in tears. It was such a great short!

What do I plan on getting? Let's see...

They've been doing that since Diabolical Box, at least. They may have even offered some free puzzles on Curious Village, but it's been too long for me to remember.

Incidentally, I've heard VLR has something like 24 different endings, so yeah...

Thankfully, there is a "fast-forward" feature. I was able to get through subsequent playthroughs in very little time. And, yes, you do have to play the same "good" scenario twice. It was a weird decision, despite how the story justifies it.

The full story of 999? You have to play it seven times. There are five bad endings and one good ending, but to see the "true" ending, you have to finish the good ending twice. What's more, if you have gotten all the bad endings as well, the "true" ending will have more dialogue.

PHEW! Now I'm kind of glad I pre-ordered during the second batch. I would have been pissed had I not gotten it. I initially had this game pre-ordered on NewEgg so I could get $10 off, but cancelled it specifically so I could get the bonus item. I'm honestly a little surprised that Aksys isn't trying to compensate it's

Wait, so... Zero Escape is this week and Layton is next week? I had them mixed up, I guess. :/

I've done it many times, but it depends on the game. If I try to play Tetris, I'll stay up for hours because I'm so focused. What I used to do a lot, though, was play Pokemon: TCG for GBC. Playing it became so passive and rote that I found myself passing out, often dropping my Game Boy on the floor. For years I used

I like how it's basically Zelda II + Banjo-Kazooie. It's like they know what I love, or something.

When they announced a Clear GBC would be available at launch, I went bananas. I remember seeing the Clear GB and GBP and wishing my white GB was as awesome and see-through as those models.

That was the model I had. I was so excited to get it, too!

Thanks for sharing that story! It's always great to hear about how people overcome their inner adversity, and I wish you the best of fortune in the future regarding it.

Well, technically nothing, since I pre-ordered online this time. But, yeah. I totally bought Code of Princess.

Oh, thank god, someone mentioned King's Quest VI. I was going to be very worried if not. :D

Oh, so my retail copy of Layton isn't good enough for you?

Speaking of the SFX changing during dialogue, who else LOVES that about Illusion of Gaia?
