That hard mode looks tasty. Wow. I might actually buy into this?
The Lunar series is good (mainly Silver Star and Eternal Blue) and if you like Super Mario RPG, you must play the Mario & Luigi trilogy. The Paper Mario games are decent as well, but not quite as good as M&L.
Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, King's Quest, Illusion of Gaia, Pokemon, Bomberman, Bubble Bobble, Contra, Galaga, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong, Super Solvers, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Myst.
Except that the Japanese name was "Triforce of the Gods" and only the English packaging ever initially referred to it as a "prequel".
Amazon?
I still need to get around to playing Prime 2 and 3. I bought Prime Trilogy and just ended up playing Prime 1 twice :3
Lost in Shadow, Fragile Dreams, A Boy and His Blob, Zack and Wiki, and Metroid: Other M can all be purchased NEW for under $20. While Metroid was so-so, the rest of those games are fantastic. There's also a lot of great downloadable games for under $15 like Lost Winds, And Yet It Moves, Fluidity, World of Goo, and…
Do you think maybe it's just a matter of personal taste? My Wii library is sitting at 28 games (not counting VC games), which is a respectable amount, and there are at least 10 more games I want before I'll be satisfied. My 3DS library is currently at 10 (not counting VC games), and will have reached 15 by the year's…
/sigh. You know Capcom, I actually expected you to do nothing yet here we are with you celebrating the legacy of seven Mega Man franchises, each with scores of games and characters, by creating a hybrid Card/Action game for iOS that stars a heretofore unseen Mega Man character. Great job, Capcom. Just... Stellar work.
When I held one, it seemed fine to me. It had great response, and a solid give to each button; sort of like a middle ground between the DSLite and DSi buttons. Obviously, I need to spend more time with it to get a genuine "feel" for it, but I thought it was far superior to both Classic Controllers, which is really all…
In regards to story, characters, atmosphere, music, and tone: YES.
For those confused as to why there would be a third version of the PS3, let's not forget that the PS2 got three versions as well.
What's with these articles with auto-play videos? It scares the crap out of me every time!
The only reason no one wanted it was because it was Banjo-Kazooie, but didn't play like Banjo-Kazooie. If it was LEGO: Nuts & Bolts it would have sold significantly better.
That's exactly right. That is perfectly, exactly, and unequivocally the point I am trying to convey.
You're absolutely right. And every console I've purchased has been because it had great games that I couldn't play otherwise. Well, except for my Virtual Boy and Atari. Those are just for novelty's sake. :3
ATTENTION BAYONETTA "FANS":
"I hate when a good franchise sprawls it's sequels across a bunch of different consoles "
That's a fair point, but how about this? Nintendo pulls it's support from Bayonetta 2, so that it's no longer exclusive. Nobody steps forward to fund it. There is now no Bayonetta 2, and all currently developed assets go to waste. You make a good point, but it's not quite the same thing.
