I saw the title and was prepared to /facepalm a bit, but after reading about that Trackpad, I am pretty impressed. I don't know about "best controller ever", but hey, until we see a game that proves it, it just sort of has to stay in the realm of "maybe".

And what's wrong with that? If anything, it will create a larger instal base, which in turn will convince publishers to allow developers to take on riskier, more ambitious projects. It's thanks to Nintendogs, Brain Age, and the like that the DS had such an amazing library. We only serve to gain by being accessible to

I like the art, but I'm torn on the humor, which is strange because dark humor usually makes me laugh hardest.

To be honest, I'm not surprised. The PSP is crazy successful in Japan, and it's numbers are going to stay strong for a while. Vita has to show that it's worth upgrading to, much like the transition from PS2 > PS3 or DS > 3DS.

I love the cheesy banter so much. <3

NOOOOOOOOO!!

I really don't get this either. I mean, I was active on 1up for the longest time, but finally quit going there because I was so sick of how ignorant and "fanboyish" the vocal community was. I figured that was normal until I started reading the comments on Kotaku and was like, "Holy crap, vocal intelligent people DO

It may be safe to assume that, but it would also be presumptuous. Don't forget that the Sacred Realm has to be sealed away for it to be inaccessible. When Link removed the Master Sword in Ocarina, he broke the seal on the Sacred Realm. There was never any point in the series outside of Ocarina in which a seal on the

Had I known, I so would have bought one. One-Handed games on DS are the WORST.

The Official Timeline states that the "First Zelda" happens during Hyrule's Golden Age between Link's Awakening and Zelda I though. This is the best way for it to happen, since it does not contradict the lore of other Zelda games. Besides, who's to say there aren't Hylian Princesses NOT named Zelda from time to time

As someone who played the demo, I can say that the game controls wonderfully, but since you're holding the whole system with one hand while playing, it can get tiring over long play sessions. The stand exists to circumvent that for people like me who play A LOT of handheld gaming.

Fucking FINALLY. Where was this way back when the original DS released?

I run a local Used Game shop in Arkansas, and our system sales were terrible this Autumn/Christmas. We carry everything from NES to current-gen, but the only systems we sold out of over Christmas were DS and PSP units. Sign of the times, maybe?

For Farmville, yeah. But that is love for a specific game, and not the medium. Growing up, I loved the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail more than most people should, but I never would have called myself a Movie Buff or anything.

Suddenly I want to play this game I had no previous interest in playing...

Hardcore vs. Casual will never lose it's meaning but, as some commenters have pointed out, the terms are a little crass and/or not really applicable for what they are meant to convey.

It's not ground-breaking or anything, but it's in my Top 3 of 2011 (alongside Kirby: Mass Attack and Batman: Arkham City). It's Chrono Trigger meets Golden Sun, and is sort of the thing FFXIII-2 is ripping off. :D

I got mine via mail in about a week.

WOO! I'm going to the one in Dallas next week! Driving 5+ hours from Arkansas to get there too! :D

Hey, people are allowed to have their opinions. They just aren't allowed to have wrong ones. :p
